It's unfortunate that Larry DiTillio's The Isle of Darksmoke was never completed, leaving us with only the upper level. Despite rare hints that he might still have notes for the rest of it, that was not to be; and sadly Mr DiTillio died last year.
Still, we have the first part of the adventure and that makes me wonder if any of you have filled in the blanks yourselves. Have you created your own dungeon levels to extend the adventure? or is there a published dungeon you've found that fit well?

It's even worse then all that, level 2 was already in layout when Blade went under. Last I heard they had the disk that the text layout was on but it is in a format for a proprietary Wordprocesser/Typesetter that is long gone. I'd love to get my hands on it to see if we can dump the data with "dd", and then explore that image using a sector editor. It seems likely that the text is recoverable even if the layout is not. (Assuming I got working 5.25 disk drive or gasp maybe it's full 8" disk from the real old days)
Steve was talking about trying to release a Level 2 a little while ago so hopefully that is still on the project board.
Sadly I can't post the key to this right now as it's in storage and I never typed it, (I did it back in the 90's so ).. But I pulled lots of details out of the SA article Larry wrote back in the day. Next time I go to storage if I see the folder I'll grab it.
