Any moderators in here?
Just expressing a pet peeve. Some of the pinned posts are ages old. Can ye release them? Does a post that hasn't been commented on in ten years still need to be pinned? C'mon! Pinned threads are like sticky notes. After a year of no comments I say unpin them.

Some posts stay pinned because they contain useful information, even if they haven't been updated. Just because a post of links to resources hasn't been commented on doesn't mean that no-one has used it.
That said, there are almost certainly pinned posts that are past their 'use-by' date. I'm happy to review specific pinned posts on request, and it wouldn't hurt to do a general clean-up. But I suspect that neither ProfGremlin nor I are short of things to occupy our time that are more urgent, so the clean-up tends not to happen.
I'll try to tidy up over the coming weekend, but if anyone wants to notify me of specific posts that can be unpinned, that would help.

Just because a post of links to resources hasn't been commented on doesn't mean that no-one has used it. Agreed. Folks have even asked that particular threads be pinned because of this usefulness aspect. I will say that Mahrundl is right, when we discuss free time. I've been working from home for the last year, now, and putting in more hours now than I ever did working from the site. That combines to leave far fewer hours free and a Prof who has trouble making an L1 SR Con most weekends. I've no objection, at all, to reviewing threads for usefulness, pinned or otherwise. It may be that there's a thread someone is aware of that isn't pinned which could benefit folks if it were. So, send us your suggestions, PM would probably work best so we don't clutter up this thread (I suppose we could also create a new pinned thread to track progress of pinned thread reviews....) We'll look them over and collaborate to dust the bookshelves a bit. My thanks, speed1000, for looking for ways improve Trollbridge! ~ Prof.

Having read the preview pages, that looks like it could be a lot of fun. I like the idea of a party of delvers running afoul of situations the players Monsters! party created in a different session. Alternating bi-weekly campaigns, one M!M! and the other T&T, could be really interesting from the viewpoint of what's going on in other parts of the world.

Word on the street? If you want anything Tunnels & Trolls related from Ken’s Trolhalla Press (recently renamed Trollgodfather Press) ... ... you should buy it this month. The sooner the better. All parties with any specific knowledge are keeping mum, but we are assured changes are coming.

I can't shed any more light on the situation than Piper has, I've heard similar mutterings. What I can tell you is that it would appear Trollgodfather Press has discounted their titles by an average of 50% at the moment of this posting.

I’ve been pleased to note nobody here has engaged in rampant idle speculation concerning whatever “big FBI news” is coming our way. Apparently, however, at other corners of the Internet they are doing exactly that. Steve Crompton addressed this on Facebook today with a post stating Flying Buffalo will always be here and releasing Tunnels & Trolls. While he had nothing new to say, he did reinforce the idea Ken changed TGP’s company name of his own free will and basically politely asked everyone to knock it off. My home PC lets me cut and paste the text from people’s Facebook posts, but my iPad won’t let me do that. I’ll post the message verbatim when I get home in the morning, but for now? Here is a link if you want to read it for yourself. m.facebook.com/groups/deluxetunnelsandtrolls/permalink/4502267779790651/

I figured it out, I was accessing the mobile site, I switched it to desktop. Here is a cut and paste of Steve’s message.

There was a post asking about the 5th Ed. enhanced version of T&T in the FB group. Here is Crompton’s response:

All very cloak-n-dagger, innit? By the pricking of my thumbs... Cloak & Dagger sums it up well. I mean I'm happy they gave up a head's up! so we could stock up on some great T&T products. OTOH? It really does create a bit of tension wondering what's coming down the pike. I'll always have my books and PDFs, so T&T's legacy in assured ... my main concern is whatever happens serves Rick's legacy and also benefits Ken and Steve.
