Hi trollfriends, With travel and all kinds of face to face activities getting disrupted by quarantine and isolation, I thought I'd share the results of a bunch of research and work I did for my friend group. I was looking for options for online board games, tabletop RPG tools, and voice and video chat that worked cross platform. One of my friends only has a tablet right now so I also looked into tablet compatibility and crossplay too. I wasn't sure if this would be a whole lot of what everybody already knew, or not. In casual conversation, I was surprised to discover that a fair few people hadn't ever really done a lot with online play/tabletop/voice/video chat. So in case it helps anyone, here you go. (I also made sure to throw a bone to T&T as a suggestion for new players, because it's great! ) aspiring-grognard.net/playonline/Take care and stay healthy everyone.

Thanks for posting this.
A funny story: the last time I played an real-time video chat based game? One of the participants fell asleep. The rest of us tried yelling in unison to wake him up but we finally had to sign off.

Thanks d4caltrops for this thorough review of remote gaming resources. I have been using Skype to run a single character of one of our trollish brethren from here on the 'bridge through various self-penned and published materials. Lately, I'm running a simple MSPE adventure; the first time ever I've used that system
