Good advice. A moot point, however, as Ahki the Bizarre has been slain. After a few quick rolls, however, Ahki the Jagged is born. And has also found some Indian Head pennies in the Deathtrap Equalizer...

i know there are few solos that have spells for rogues. Deathtrap and CoT (Marek) as you already named. Dark Side of the Desert by Patrick Witmer has Tome you can pick up a spell from, and his Barony of Sanris has spell scroll table for treasure that also can be used by Rogues . There some other one I can't remember off hand and I don't think it's in PDF but I'll look through my files again.
Like Khaboom said do as you wish certainly nothing wrong with charge x time more from some unscrupulous Wizard to get a spell or 2. Great way for you to get rid any excess gold you pick up.

It would probably be a downtime thing, between solos. Maybe make up a roll of some sort, to see what's available, and how much it will cost. Maybe a Charisma check, to see if you can wheedle it down a bit. I might have to think on writing something up...
Anyhoo though, there might be a few that give you the chance. I just did a play through of the new Alice in Weirdworld, and it has at least one opportunity for learning a spell in game. There are about 200 solos out there, so there are going to be some. I don't recall any others, off the top of my head, but I haven't had the time to play through them all, by half. (On second thought, without looking it up, Arena may give you the chance to learn spells between fights, or not, because Rogues.)
As Deluxe T&T lets you have your combat total and cast a spell, it's a lot easier to self adjudicate simple spells in a solo - Vorpal blade, TTYF and so on are easy to resolve. I allow myself this facility when playing a caster in a warrior adventure.
