I’d like to gauge interest in having a go at a T&T PbP adventure here on the Trollbridge. I’ve immersed myself pretty well in the game and I’m confident enough to run a game. I’m going to use the Deluxe rules as I have the book. Humans and core kindreds to start. I’ll be using a published module from another system in a sandbox setting.
Let me know if you’re interested.

I might be. But, I work weird shifts, and don't always have the headspace or time.

Hey, OldToby! I'd be interested in a PbP game. dT&T and core Kindred work for me, though I'll say I'm not as conversant with dT&T nuance as I am 5th ed. I do admit to a rather piqued interest in role-playing a Policani, though, by their modifiers, I don't know how long they'd survive. A couple posts a week sounds doable. Here's an example of my style. Note - At this point of the game I'd picked up a second character another player had abandoned. If this style works for you I'm happy to join in. If it doesn't, don't worry, it's ok to say so Just let Mahrundl and I know when your ready to set something up and we'll create a sub-board for you to run your game.

Certainly, I'm in but I'm more like ProfGremlin as I'm a 5th Ed. guy, but base play can't be too different.

oldtoby, how many players are you hoping for?

Wow! I was not expecting so many replies so soon. Cool! Since many of you play exclusively 5e or simply do not have the deluxe rules plus the fact I really want this game to be, I’ll concede to using 5e rules. It’s not an issue with me and I also understand this version is still the ‘go-to’ rules edition for a lot of players (if this board is any indication of such ; P ).

I realize I should have been more precise but my OP was a feeler than anything concrete about the game. By core kindred I mean the usual human, elf, dwarf, hobb, and leprechaun races (I’m still on the fence about fairies). If you desire to play a different race other than those mentioned in this post, drop me a line and I’ll consider it.

Two to Four always hits the sweet spot for me, depending on the adventure. But I’ll take five in a pinch.
Another thing, I’m not sure how zany or irreverent I want this game to be above the silly character name/appearance. I’ve been rooted in the Tolkienesque model for so long yet I’ve been wanting to step beyond my comfort level. Bear with me on this.

If this style works for you I'm happy to join in. Read your sample and I like it! I tend to write in the same vein. I hope to decide to join, just keep in mind what I wrote earlier about the races available to the players.

I would like to play a Hobb rogue, probably. How do you envisage opportunities for Rogues to learn spells in your game?
No pressure, let us know when you can. One or two posts a week sounds very doable for me.

[snip] By core kindred I mean the usual human, elf, dwarf, hobb, and leprechaun races (I’m still on the fence about fairies). My thanks for the clarifications, OldToby. To be clear, I'm not opposed to dT&T, I backed it after all! If that's the ruleset you'd like to run, well, it just affords me the opportunity to read-up on the rules again. Not a bad thing at all. As for the Policani, well, my imagination just got hooked when I read through and discovered them. I admit to being disappointed with their Peters-McAllister multipliers, though. They didn't seem to quite match their write-up. For your first run through, I'd agree that it would make life easier on you to stick with known variables. Looking forward to the adventure!

I think the party is full at this point, but I'd take a bench spot just in case. Thank you for setting this up!

Does anyone know how/if you can post images in messages here? Probably I could search for it but it's nice to get help!
