Ceorl is in no ways an exceptional Hobb, although he does have the gift of the gab, able to charm his way out of most difficult situations. His lack of application meant he drifted for much of his early years, until he found himself in debt to the local organised crime syndicate due to unwise investments in slow animals. He decided that only by adventuring could he redeem his fortunes, and so has set off to find the big pile of gold that will pay his debts and enable him to live a life of idleness and comfort.
(If anyone has watched Breaking Bad and/or Better call Saul , then Ceorl is partly modelled on Jimmy McGill - relying very heavily on his ability to talk himself out of situations that his lack of wisdom have lead him into. He is loyal to comrades, and his better nature is there to be appealed to)

Has a very engaging smile, twinkly blue eyes and a pleasant voice. He has a tendency to move around with excitement when his enthusiasm is engaged. Wears dark clothing. Close inspection would reveal not so hidden weaponry.
