I think I am going to take the plunge and GM an adventure over at gamerplane.com (simple dice roller, very clean interface and no ads) could someone recommend a mini GM adventure?
I looked at the one in the deluxe Rulebook but seems to be three interconnected modules. I want to start kind and simple!

Are you looking for a straight GM module or are you willing to use a solo as a start point and basic framework?
I'd say look over the one's you can find in the Sorcerer's Apprentice Adventurers Compendium. It has all the one's that were in the magazine; both solo's & GM one's.

How about Dungeon of the Rat? Back when I was trying to get my kids and their friends into TTRPGs I ran this adventure for them. It's pretty straight forward and not too long. I've never tried it in PbP, from either side of the GM screen, but it's pretty basic and would provide a decent orientation to play.

I think the Tomb of Axton might be the winner.

I've run both The Tomb of Axton and Dungeon of the Rat and had great fun with both. valdus I'm sure you'll enjoy whichever you go with.
