The TSR business is an utter debacle. Perhaps closer to the FBI situation is that of S. John Ross, whose work has appeared in the Citybook line, selling his Risus, Uresia and Encounter Critical properties, which has also happened in the last couple of weeks. Things change, hopefully not for the worse.

Strange times. An old tried-and-true company, Flying Buffalo Inc., has been sold. Whereas a dead-and-buried company, TSR, has risen from the grave and is shambling and lurching around like one of George Romero's zombies ... X 2! What the deuce is going on? Is the apocalypse nigh? The new TSR isn't legally in any way a resurrection of the old. It's a dopplegänger, an attempt to steal the identity that was legally sold off by EGG in the 1970s... and wasn't ever belonging to those using it. Deluded or criminal, it cannot be told from here, but definitely unethical. |

Just think, in a year we'll all be like "Man, I really miss the Old School days of Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls -- you know, back when the game was fun and real, and not all this 4d20 System plus mandatory Troll: The Gathering cards!" Yes, its a shame their business model includes a team of hackers and ninjas that will remove all previous versions of the game throughout the world, dead tree and digital, to a secret bunker guarded by deathtraps. We will be forced to buy the new version unless a crack team of delvers can be recruited for one final quest... |

Also I would just like to say "What a GREAT Idea!" to The new Troll: The Gathering Card Games!
If indeed our new Overlords are willing to put that much Money into our Beloved Game...I will buy it.
Might I suggest to our Masked Overlords to please for the love of Trollgods toe fungus, get a character sheet made for T&T on roll20? I will run games every single week if only I could get a T&T character sheet to work on it.
