I do wonder what the reasoning behind removing said products is. It's possible that there are legal issues involving the transfer of ownership rights, or something of that nature. I can't think of a good reason to remove existing PDFs from sale, given that the cost of keeping them there is trivial.
If it's just something along the lines of re-releasing them with the new company's logo, in order to try to get the existing fanbase to purchase the new version, I'll be very disappointed in them. Whoever 'them' turns out to be...

A non-scary reason that came to mind for removing from DTRPG is that the buyer may have their own digital sales platform, especially if it is the buyer that I am hoping it is. Or have an existing contract to honor elsewhere.

The GM in my T&T campaign had to draw a whole new cave map because the party fixated on this tiny, uninteresting, hobb-sized crevasse that he couldn't persuade us to ignore... Hello all! While not technically a new T&T release, Ken and I have been busy with this new release "A Thief in Khazan" I've been working on this for the last several weeks after finding this almost forgotten novel by Ken St Andre at Ken's former home. I scanned in all the pages, enhanced the art, added new art. Ken wrote an entire new chapter for the book and retitled it Thief of Khazan. Hi, I was just picking up T&T 1st ed. and 4th ed. on Drivethrurpg and I saw this Oh! My Khost! For M&MI believe it's adventures that were included in the Hard Cover M&M (or as pdf attachments), but not in the softcover ed. A GM adventure and two mini-solos. stefanj or sscrompton would know more about it. EDIT: I should have typed, perhaps stefanj or sscrompton would know more about it. My apologies to the gentlemen in question. |
