@piper, he was replying to a different question. What he said yes to was using a deluxe staff to cast a spell while you cast another spell or attack with a weapon. So a deluxe staff lets you cast an extra spell each combat round. So that should be mentioned in any edits to the rules. Personally, I would still really like to know if/how spells can be learned from Deluxe Staffs. In any case, I suggest this would be good to include in errata. Didn't think of that. That's really powerful. well worth 5000gp in my spellbook. |
