Once upon a time, I was using the excellent Ardenstone Adventures T&T character generator and database to track my characters. Seeing as it's disappeared, and the Track n' Troll app for Android no longer works, I was wondering if anyone knows of anything similar online that I might be directed to. I'm kind of having an urge to continue my Arena of Khazan adventures.

Oh, uburoi , if you only knew the sadness that the disappearance of the Ardenstone Adventures brings me. It was a super T&T resource and because I wasn't organised enough to back them up that often, there were several great characters that have gone forever

I hope the new owners invest a little in a good character creation and combat engine online.
For me a good sheet on Roll20/Foundry with a few good scripts for combat would do me fine.

There is an old CharGen program that used to be dispensed via the creator's site: demonspawn.net. I found a copy at one time via an abandonware site. As it's a Windows/DOS program I was never able to run it as I use Mac & Linux. I'm sure it's still out there, somewhere, I'm just not sure where or if it'll meet the needs you've stated, uburoi.

If it's a DOS program, the emulator version of DOSBox for Mac should run it. Assuming one isn't on an M1-series mac. (the new ones). If it's a win 3.x program, any of the major x86 emulators can be configured with dos 5.x or 6.x and win 3.x... or with win 95/98/98SE, or WINE. Given that MacOSX is BSD with a different window server/manager, one can run WINE and X11 to access most windows software.

This one, Prof? (I checked and the download link still works. No idea if it is what uburoi wants.)

That does indeed look like the program in question. While not a true database program it does, IIRC, have the option to output characters in text files. That would at least allow someone to use something like OneNote to paste the generated characters into and then update as adventures go by.

If it's a DOS program, the emulator version of DOSBox for Mac should run it. All quite true. I've just never had a need to run anything DOS/Windows specific that would have prompted me to setup an emulator or run WINE, Parallels or VMWare. I did have Win 10 Pro setup via Bootcamp for quite some time and found I never used it. So, I reclaimed the disk space.

I wrote an online character sheet system, but it didn't get much uptake, and the system I chose to build it in turned out to be finnicky, so I took it down rather than leave it broken.
I would be happy to bring something back that made delvers happy. I have quite a bit of personal T&T scripts written that I could clean up and share. What are you looking for in your character generators/databases?
Based on what I see here, I'm guessing:
- Downloadable, multi-platform/platform independent - Save characters as plain text so that you can easily search for them - 5.5 / 7.5 / Deluxe options - Generate a random human or other core kindred
Is that the gist of it? Anything critical missing?

So I have a full blown combat simulator for 5e (https://dndcombat.com) I was trying to find contact information for Flying Buffalo to see if they minded if I added a Tunnels and Trolls section/version. Oooo This sounds very interesting gregc . I'm not sure while we are in what we might term the interregnum between owners of our beloved game that there is anyone at Webbed Sphere (new owner) to contact. You could say your T&T-style combat simulator is for D6 games or, a bit like Peryton Press, and describe it as "Trollbridge Friendly" like they call their products "Trollhalla Friendly"?
