Well, someone is listening.
I noticed, a couple weeks back, that the Flying Buffalo facebook page still listed Rick Loomis's email address, and the old Flying Buffalo phone number in Arizona that is now used by "Rick Loomis PBM."
I used the contact form to let them know.
The page was updated today!

I contacted Webbed Sphere through their main page, inquiring about producing licensed products specifically for DT&T and the engine in general. They gave me two names within the company who I reached out to as well. I have not heard anything yet, but in case they do contact me, what do you want to know? Please post questions here or better yet DM me. No secrets amongst trolls, but it's a bad look and more to broadcast all correspondence in public.

I suppose from my own point of view I'd ask:
1) Do they intend to do anything with the game or maybe sort out the Print on Demand at Drive Thru for Deluxe? Shipping costs are a swine when the book has to come from around the world.
2) Is anyone on with fixing the Tunnels and trolls app which starts up and freezes? Hasn't worked in so long now I think it's all but forgotten...
3) Thoughts on a System Reference Document (SRD) with a 'for use with Tunnels and Trolls' logo or license?
4) Do they take submissions/ideas/suggestions or do they have some as yet unrevealed master plan for the game, or is what we see now all we'll be getting? I would suggest hiring Liz Danforth as a consultant and chopping Deluxe into a set of smaller books/boxed set and kickstarting it. Deluxe was ok but does anyone get much use from the majority of it aside from rules stuff?
5) The rules/writing/explanation of the DT&T game was as clear as mud in some cases. The appeal of the game is that it has always been easy to play, fast to learn and cheap to get hold of. Not sure you can say that about DT&T these days.
I haven't ruled out making a personal copy of the rules, trimming down the rules into one section for levels 1-3 (because of the number of spells) and having a bash at making my own boxed set with a D&D style bestiary laid out with pictures and the like. If I'm just one random guy with no talent on the internet who can do that, surely someone with money and talent behind them can do a better job (and save me having to do it!)...

Shipping costs are a swine when the book has to come from around the world. They said they had some concepts/plans early on but they really havent communicated anything further in a while.2) Is anyone on with fixing the Tunnels and trolls app which starts up and freezes? Hasn't worked in so long now I think it's all but forgotten... That is owned by Ken and I think Steve, too (maybe under Trollhalla Press Unlimited). One of the regular / veteran T&T semi-celebrity's seems in charge of fixing it up. He originally posted it should be done in 2022 but he also posted about some delays not too long ago. He didnt officially say "not 2022" but hopefully soon either way.3) Thoughts on a System Reference Document (SRD) with a 'for use with Tunnels and Trolls' logo or license? SRD stuff seems overly complex to me but I am no expert. Before Webbed Sphere it was easy, as far as I know, to get Flying Buffalo's OK on third party T&T solos/gm adventures. Hopefully Webbed Sphere will provide some clarity soon and hopefully an easy path to publication for third parties. 1) I'd ask again if they are looking for RPG writers/editors. I have RPG publishing industry experience from over a decade ago (mostly d20 system stuff), but left it behind for other work. 2) I'd also ask if they have plans for a regular (hardcopy or eBook) T&T magazine and could use writing/editorial staff for that. A T&T mag would be great to elevate the profile of the property and develop a PR platform to spread the word about the game. I'd love to get in on the ground-level of something that could develop into Sorcerer's Apprentice, or Dragon or White Dwarf or JTAS from their heydays. 3) T&T is a great property that really never got the big publicity it really deserves like another (cough) game that will go unnamed (cough). 4) A T&T webisode series (on any number of platforms) of animated shows could open the game up to a new, younger generation of players, much like the wildly popular D&D cartoon of the early 1980s.
5) A line of T&T-flavoured gamebooks (a la Endless Quest tying into D&D), for example, would be an awesome way to futher promote the game. Gamebooks have recently experienced a resurgence of late (e.g. Fabled Lands).
and one more thing... 6) HIRE ME!!!! (on troll-knees begging pathetically).

Thanks, bigjackbrass . For some odd reason I'm receiving the message You do not have permission to access this thread when using that link. Could you pass along the thread name from the forum? Perhaps I can access it that way.

It’s under the T&T sub-forum (of course) and called “FLYING BUFFALO TO BE SOLD SOON -SALE PENDING”—the relevant post is the first on page two.

Here is the post for those who do not have access....
###### I suspect you're not going to hear much of anything from Flying Buffalo for a while. They were supposed to have a booth at this year's Gen Con. Let me tell you a story!
I had noticed them listed in the exhibitor hall, and decided that I just had to go check out their booth, mostly out of interest in what on earth are they even going to be selling. After spending about 20 minutes circling the place where their booth should have been, I came to the conclusion that they were, 100%, in fact not there. Okay, so I went around and asked some people I know and while doing so ran into Pookie, who does a lot of online reviews of RPGs of all kinds, and he is the one who told me what had happened.
Flying Buffalo did, indeed, have a booth space paid for and secured. Then as their truck of inventory was being moved it had gone under too low of a bridge and the top had been sheered off of the cargp container. The truck obviously couldn't be driven anywhere else, so they had left it at a parking lot attached to a mechanic of some kind (I don't remember the exact details on this)...which was open air. And it had rained. And the inventory had not been yet removed from the damaged cargo hold, which meant that ALL of that inventory that was GenCon bound was destroyed.
With this amount of bad luck and financial hit, I really doubt there's going to be much left to Flying Buffalo to be honest.

Oh dear indeed. I remember a the last minute post on Facebook saying Gencon was not happening. I wonder how much of the inventory that was?
With that said, I've had no response to my inquiries, and am not suprised. My 96% uninformed guess is that the greatest value with the IP is in non-American or even non-primarily English speaking countries (e.g. France, Japan) and unless someone comes to them with a number (up to 99.7% uninformed on my part) in the mid-high five figure range minimum, they might not respond at all.

Very skeptical. Several aspects of this account sound dodgy. The poster is a newb to the ODD74 forum with only a handful of posts, and Bulgarian. How a Bulgarian got this news item before anyone Stateside is sketchy.
