Actually okgamer you have given me what I want from Webbed Sphere with regards to T&T already. You have engaged with this community and listened to us. I have no doubt that you and your colleagues will take our/your great little game in interesting and creative directions. Thank you, the best Christmas gift I could have hoped for

I love all these positive and creative posts for and from okgamer ! This is the fun and collaborative essence of T&T. For my two-penneth, I'd take a pickaxe to the Trollzine and mine through it for some shiny nuggets. Maybe checkout TZ13 next year in particular.... All the best for the festive season to everyone here.

Thanks for engaging with us here ed. My first concern for T&T would be to have a framework that facilitates and encourages fan based creation. We have a number of independent producers of T&T who are also big fans of and boosters for the game. I really hope you can present a framework that will encourage creativity and grow the game. There are various models for this which I am sure you are aware of and I'm not going to plug any in particular. I absolutely appreciate that T&T is your IP and we don't want another Hobbit Hole producer type trauma for the game, but I am sure we do want to leverage the creativity of the community. Secondly - more content produced to a professional level is likely to get snapped up by the people who frequent here. Thirdly, I am aware of adventure paths from D&D - but have not experienced play of them. If you were able to create some solo adventure connectivity (in the way the meta arcade app aimed to) I think that would be a definite positive. As a model to make the game accessible, I think that GM or solo adventures that grow organically are a good idea. My go to introductory GM adventure for new players to T&T is The Dungeon of the Rat www.drivethrurpg.com/product_info.php?products_id=98876Fourthly Tunnels and Trolls has a flavour to it that is not Heroic Fantasy (though you can do that with it) and of course it's individual to each player, but I think the classic solo adventures, the spell names and the 'make it your own' approach to the rules give it a style that is it's own. If you can pull off the trick of maintaining those elements of it's USP while appealing to a wider audience you will be doing really well Fifthly the meta arcade app was pretty well regarded. If you can get it working, great. If you can add things to spend gold on, and adventures for casters then many people would be happy about that. Best of luck! That's the way to bring in new players and generate income IMHO.

No offense to any other posters, but I don't think T&T needs to be split up into more than one book.

No offense to any other posters, but I don't think T&T needs to be split up into more than one book. None taken, but fyi? Even Ken St. Andre was in favor of this idea for a reprint. This may have been a desire to keep the original KS printing a collectors item. Just thought I’d share. ETA: while this decision is presumably out of KSA’s hands now, I’m sure Webbed Sphere will seek his advice and guidance in moving TnT forward.

It is a not-secret that Flying Buffalo planned to eventually reprint DT&T as two books.
I think this makes sense. The cost of getting into the game would be less, and GMS could either choose Trollworld as a setting, make their own, or try out one of the existing alternate settings (e.g. Mythic Ireland, Lejantia).
I think T&T could definitely use more "modern" GM adventures. e.g., more than dungeon crawls.
In addition to two solo ready for art & layout, and two more solos that just need a bit of editing (they were written when 7.5 was the latest), I have two settings books (with adventure seeds) that are well along. One about Lemur Island (a tropical island abandoned after its beast-gods decided their human followers weren't worthy), the other the Otter Continent, a far-north place whose interior is haunted by demons and crazed ice shamans.

This thread makes me very hopeful for T&T's future.
I'm eager to try my hand at making content for the game so I'm keen to hear what happens with the community content ideas as well as organized play.
Thank you so much for carrying the torch on this lovely little game, and a Happy New Year to all!

YES - Our plan was to split the dT&T Rulebook into two books. One book for the rules and then one book that was Trollworld. (It would have become the world sourcebook essentially.) Liz, Ken Rick and I seriously considered doing this as far back as the Kickstarter itself once we realized how big the book was becoming, but we promised the backers it would be one all inclusive book, and so we stuck with what we said we would give you all. Certainly it is my hope that that is what WebbedSphere/Buffalo does, but that will be a business decision on their part once the remaining hardbacks are sold. One file I gave them is a long list of corrections for the dT&T rulebook and those will hopefully be incorporated into an updated rulebook. (I need to remind Ed about that - he got a LOT of files from me! lol)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm flying today, and visiting the family next week (Finally! It's been three years!), so I'll be pretty quiet till the new year. What email would be best to get you on?
