I'd like to see future solo adventures expanded upon, mechanically. Something like City of Terrors, woth its random NPC encounters, proved that solos don't have to be a binary choice. T&T originated the solo, but there are some REALLY good solo advantures outside of T&T that might be worth a look for anyone designing a solo.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service, a campaign for the old James Bond 007 RPG, used a sort of card-driven system to determine the challenge level of certain tasks, as well as the actions of many NPCs.
And incorporating open-ended Saving Throws to determine outcomes and damage, especially with regard to traps and other potential insta-kill encounters, could help to ameliorate the frustrating nature of many solos. I guess what I'm saying is that there are a lot of things that can be done, or even included as options, to make solo adventures more interesting and exciting, as well as making them more appealing to modern audiences.
Rules-lite RPGs are very popular right now, and there's no reason why T&T couldn't flourish in today's environment.

I'd also like to see the pirated works of "that guy" taken down. His stuff, or more accurately, other people's stuff that he stole, is still being sold on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, under the names Khara Kang, J S, and Donald Weis. "that guy" is dead, and I can't figure out for the life of me who is profiting off of this stuff.

gringnr : These pirate works are like cockroaches, they need to be stomped constantly. Since Webbed Sphere owns the copyright and registered trademark, they have the authority to demand takedowns. If you have the time, you might post a few listings to the contact page on the Flying Buffalo site. If only to let them know there is a problem!

Rules-lite RPGs are very popular right now, and there's no reason why T&T couldn't flourish in today's environment. This. Smaller rule books. The basics (like the free rules on Drive Thru but filled out more) split into Rules, Monsters and Treasure, Game world. Advanced Rules if you need them in a separate book. DT&T is nice but does anyone think the fat bullet stopper is their favourite version of the game (either physically or what's inside)? Old School Essentials has shown the way more than any other Old School type game (which T&T most assuredly is). The money those guys are making from Box sets of a cleaned up old rule set (B/X) in booklets has to be some kind of inspiration to Webbed Sphere. Sure D&D is a bigger game, but T&T could be bigger by going smaller... If that makes any sense. I'm probably starting to repeat myself by now. I might print/bind the parts of the rules I will use into smaller softback books and make a box for them. Watch this space (but give me a week or two)...

Nice to see the FBI online shop full of products again. The new logo, on the other hand…

There are some parts of Deluxe I like very much indeed. Some parts I would happily do without. But that has been the same for every version I've seen from UK first edition onwards. And in fact, my utopia would be a mix n match version that allowed me to choose my favourite bits from each successive release. Fully agree that the rule book would ideally be smaller, though one advantage of the bullet stopper is that you get everything you need in one place. Not sure how much value I will ever get from Trollworld though - the whole section seemed rather bloated. Book could maybe have used a little more editing in places as some of the rules are quite opaque. Never caused a problem in play as interpretations can be applied, but sometimes feels as if the players are doing the developer's job.

I fully support the idea of a version that includes the options to let us pick and choose instead of needing three copies of the rules and a multi-page word doc to keep it all documented, but I very much doubt that a version that splits up all the parts that I want to mix and match would be remotely readable.

dT&T Monster Manuel
In other sources, like 7.5 which had its on small MM, but I would prefer bigger; it been 50+ years of T&T, could there not be a request to those many T&T experienced GMs to send their usual creations and create a sourcebook for 1001 and monsters.
dT&T granted does have a good set of illkin but only for player characters, but no true explanation of the hundreds of other monsters with their special abilities; poisons, regeneration, paralysing effects, etc. That may or not activate with spite damage, etc.
(Few hours later; after first starting to type this post as stopped to read others' thoughts) I noticed others have stated the same, so yes a confirmation, a MM.
Also watched Ed's video of some stock in FB warehouse and noted he pulled out a few Sorcerer's Apprentices. I am in Glasgow; Scotland and I only every had 2 SA (one was 1979 edition, man on horse, cannie remember the other). Which one had weapons in an explanation of the new 5E weapon list (could have been 1979) and ah, that was enough for me, wanted more, I enjoyed the intricacy compared it to a sword (1d8 damage), but did not actually get T&T rules till a few years later (calculate, was about 13 years), So put SA into PDF format, yes, thanks, would love them...
Some Notes: Arch the Fiend and crew in Gristlegrim, the multicoloured entities that broke that rogues nose?
I lent the two magazines to a friend and that was it, gone, lost, who knows why, I not hold a grudge, BASTARD!!!
Still, just a joke, so Yes, loved the stories, if that was the extent of only two mags, what are the others like, Sea Reavers Tomb, Tomb of Axton. Yes sure I got them in 'Adventurers Compendium,' but there will be the stories and many more ideas to borrow and steal...

Well, it's not from Webbed Sphere, but Ken and Company just completed a successful Kickstarter for The Monsterary of Zimrala. Read about it over here.

I glad folks are expanding the T&T essence, But I just found Trollworld after 40 years and I staying with it for another 40 years, then I might change!?!

Regarding Sorceror's Apprentice:
There are many rights issues involved. The authors (some of whom has passed on) or their agents would have to be contacted. It would be difficult and expensive to get it all together.

It would be difficult and expensive to get it all together. I knew this would be a problem. This was a huge issue decades ago with Dragon Magazine and WOTC. They put out the CD ROM archive and got sued up the ying yang and then had to make a deal with Jolly Blackburn/Hackmaster/KOTDT folks. SA was my fave magazine BITD along with Different Worlds.

Did I miss comprehend the title of this post? No, you did not misunderstand the title of this thread. Being the one who created the thread in the first place, I'll be the first to clarify that. The publication I mentioned was simply an offer of assistance that, in part, addressed the desires T&T fans have expressed over the decades. Is it from Webbed Sphere? No. Is it the direction that Webbed Sphere has an interest in? Only they can answer that. In the meantime, maybe it will offer a stopgap for fans with an interest.
