Here we go. Here are my first attempt on bryning you'all some monsters from Scandinavia. Gloson.pdf (104.88 KB) GlosonGloson is a supernatural sow. It is big and dangerous with glowing eyes. The Gloson lives in cemeteries or inside mounds next to fields. The gloson have razor-sharp bristles and can rush at a person with the aim of cleaving it in half. This creature it taken from the Swedish folklore, the south of Sweden to be more exact. Suggested MR 196 (for a group of 4 characters) combat dice 20d +98 Suggested special features: If the gloson rolls 6 sixes in the first round, it will do double damage. MR and such are written with 7.5 in mind. I hope that it is possible to adapt it to earlier versions. Cheers goes out to every one! Attachments:

And here is another one.  Lyktgubbe Lantern man
This being can show itself as an apparition of a person holding a lantern, guarding wrongfully buried money. The lantern man can also show himself as a male stranger who either carrying a lantern or moving about as a shimmering orb of light. The lantern man always tries to trick people into a sinkhole, in order to drown them there. On stormy full moon nights, the lantern man can enter a person's body and live there in the form of evil thoughts.
If the Lantern Man can get his host to commit 365 atrocities in a year, he is fed and gets be a forerunner to the Devil's chariot, when he is out travelling.
The Lore concerning The lantern man is spread all over Sweden, as far as I know.
Suggested MR 40 (80 when casting spells) cannot be harmed by non-magical weapons. If the lantern man beats a characters combined IQ,CHR and LUCK (or WIZ), then the character is under the control of the lantern man. It will either force the character to drown him/herself or to commit 365 atrocious deeds. Adjust the number of days to fit the Troll world.

Caused nightmares
The word nightmares come from the notion that it was a being, the maran, that caused the nasty dreams.
Perceptions and belief in a figure that torments the sleeper is very old and can be found over large parts of the world - we find it, for example, among the ancient Sumerians, in India, in the ancient Roman Empire and in ancient Greece. Beliefs about the maran are mentioned in Scandinavia as early as the Viking Age. In an Icelandic shell poem and king's tale, it is told how a king is killed by a mara. In a couple of medieval Norwegian laws fines are decided for women who ride men or servants and men who similarly ride a person, or an animal are warned. In Själens tröst from 1420, a book probably written by a monk from Vadstena, warns against believing in mares or fairies (maro ellir elfwa).
Tormenting the sleeper
Maran could, without making any noise, get into the bedroom through a chimney, through a window, or through the smallest crack in the wall. Not infrequently, the keyhole is mentioned as the point the mara uses to get into the sleeping person.
In several records, it is told how the person who was sleeping felt that it was difficult to breathe and that it was as if someone was sitting on the chest and pressing down on the ribcage. The body then became as if paralyzed and it was not possible to call for help. Today this condition is called sleep paralysis, but in the past, it was thought to be caused by a supernatural being. Maran was considered to be a jealous or lovesick person with the ability to appear in different guises. In some cases, it was people's thoughts that could gain such power that they could gain power over a victim. If a person was ridden by the maran at night, it could be enough to mention the person's name for the person to wake up and then the maran disappeared.

Suggested MR 60/120 (When using magic). Can only be harmed by magic or magic weapons. If she beats a characters combined IQ, CHR and LUCK (or WIZ), then the character wakes up with theirs STR lower to half during that day, if he is attacked a consecutive night, he runs the risk of becoming mad. Roll L2SR on CHR or IQ.

Another shill thrill from the Scandinavia 
Skogsrået, 'the Mistress of the Forest, 'the Forest Rå' is a mythical female creature (or rå) of the forest in Swedish folklore.
It appears in the form of a small, beautiful woman with a seemingly friendly temperament; often she very well dressed, given the fact she’s found in the forest.
Skogsrået appears like a woman from the front but seen from behind she often has a hollow back and a tail. She had the power to bewitch men, so that they didn’t see her for what she was.
Those who are enticed into following her into the forest are never seen again. It was said that any human man who has intercourse with the Skogsrå becomes an introvert, as his soul has remained with her. If the seduced man is a hunter, he may be rewarded with good luck in the hunt, but should he be unfaithful to the Skogsrå, he will be punished with numerous accidents. He may put an end to a stormy night caused by her vengeance by firing a shot against her.[4] Late folklore in Nyland, Finland describes silver bullets as effective means of killing a skogsrå.
It was told that Skogsrået considered herself to be the Mistress of the forest and, she demanded respect.

Suggested MR 80/120 (when using her charm) Cannot be harmed by ordinary weapons. Magic and silver is effective. She can try to bewitch a male character, and succeed if her MR is greater than the victims combined IQ, CHR, LUCK (or WIZ).
