Glarpy strides into/through the water/sludge and climbs over the low wall at the edge of the lake.
Water and slime slop with him as he drops into the tunnel beyond and out of sight.
"Snee!" hissed one of the Snee warriors - the one who didn't fight alongside the delvers. It advances, then turns to the others. "SNEE!" it roared.
They seemed reluctant, knowing full well how capable the Delvers were having smashed their way through the Glarp defences.
Indeed, if anyone needed convincing, they need only look down and around at the gore splattered beach. At some point the glarplings would notice and this beach would be crawling with thousands of the little blighters.
"Sneeeee!" roared the warrior and it strode forward with weapon raised...
"Snee!" replied Slyclaw.
He turned. "That one issss determined to sssstrike ussss down assss non-ssssnee and therefore not worthy of life. The others are reluctant, having been fighting for ssso long and knowing exactly how well you fight. Perhapsss... a challenge to ssssilence the warrior? That ssssaid it must be a fasssst fight. Thissss place will become a feeding ground in a sssshort time!"

Will Darness "I think there's an obvious choice here," says Will meaningfully. "I could possibly take him, but it wouldn't be quick. Or pretty." He notes that Slyclaw has said nothing about needing to be a fair fight.

The Snee Warrior, having been more interested in what the Queen was doing whilst the others were locked in a life and death fight on the beach, in the room, back on the beach, shuffling back to the room etc...Licked his lips and gave a yellow toothed grin as it hefted its stick/club/sword/spear/thing and advanced. The other two (wounded) Snee warriors glanced at each other and one muttered "Snee." to the mob, which looked eager but were told to stand back it seems as the mouthy Snee Warrior got what was coming. No love lost even amongst siblings, comrades, brothers in arms it seemed. T&T COMBAT ROUND 1 OOC I don't expect this to last long!
Klarrrrchur 108HPT Snee Warrior (90MR 10D6+45 6 armour) apn rolls 10d6+45 = 1 +3 +2 +6 +3 +2 +5 +6 +4 +2 + 45=79 plus apn rolls 1d6 = 5 total 84
The Snee warrior reels (OOC takes 18 damage is now on 72/90MR) and the Dwarf doesn't let up, hooking the Mace around and flicking up with the Axe... (OOC Snee warrior 40 str + apn rolls 2d6 = 2 +6=8 total 48 Klarrrrchur scores a L1SR and earns 6AP (total 103AP) whilst the Snee warrior stumbles and loses 1d6+3 adds next round (OOC attacks with 9D6 + 33)The fight is, predictably, one sided. The Dhesiri warriors ARE mighty, but the Dwarf is seasoned, skilful and freakishly strong! The Snee Warrior shakes its head, getting to its feet and points to the floor "Snee!" it cries. Eyes glance down and it had stood in entrails. "Snee." admitted one of the other warriors and the other shrugged with a "Snee." Slyclaw turned to Will and Firdle "He ssslipped on sssomeonessss intesssstine. May have a point. I ssstill sssay the Dwarf will take him down quickly." Firdle, holding the axe, feels it tremble and vibrate in his hands/on his shoulder... BANG!The bang on the door brings a creak! to the bar across it. SPLASH!The Dhesiri Queen is in the water/sludge, starting to wade across! The vibrating axe gets more insistent (it seems) to Firdle! OOC Seconds out, round 2!

"Not quite how I would have done that move," he says consideringly . Which is probably true.

Snee warrior on 65/90 MR (10D6 +32 Armour 6)...T&T COMBAT ROUND 2 OOC Klarrrrchur 108HPT Snee Warrior (MR65/90 10D6+32 Armour 6) apn rolls 10d6+32 = 4 +1 +3 +2 +4 +2 +5 +5 +2 +4 + 32=64 less apn rolls 1d6 = 1 total 63
45 difference, 39 damage after armour. 26/90 MR (10D6+13 Armour 6) remaining.
Klarrrrchur Swordman 77 vs apn rolls 2d6+40 = 5 +2 + 40=47 which is a L3SR (Klarrrrchur earns 33AP now on 136AP) which flips the Snee Warrior on his back!After cracking the Snee warrior over the knee, uppercutting with the handaxe and swiping again with the mace across the jaw the dwarf hooks his foot around the Snee Warriors' ankle and rams both weapons into his gut, toppling the seven foot high Lizardman backwards like a felled tree! That would normally put him in an extremely uncompromising position but the Snee drone mob see it as a chance to put down another bully and fall upon the warrior, ripping and shredding! The Snee warrior cries out until one of the Drones starts ripping on his tongue with its teeth! The two remaining Snee warriors glance at each other and shrug. They told him so, he didn't listen and no one liked him anyway. OOC Klarrrrchur earns 90AP (now 226AP) as victory was inevitable. You have other problems though...The beam across the door CRACKS again and this time juts out from the door. It's not going to last more than one, maybe two more charges! Speaking of charging, the Glarp Dhesiri Queen has waded into the water and is starting to swim across ... but is being distracted by thousands of hungry mouths biting at her! Even so, she seems angry enough to ignore the nuisance and claim back the flower! Who knows, maybe the next full month she can spawn again and this time her plans might come to fruition! Slyclaw looks nervous and points out "Ummm, young Will, are you going to ssswim in all that armour?" It does occur to Will that the magic sack tucked into Klarrrrchurs' belt might be a better place for the armour for now - and possibly the plant which might otherwise get completely wet through and float away in the Dwarfs' backpack... The remaining Snee Warriors have no desire to fight the fearsome dwarf it seems, but are too few in number to fight the Queen on their own! "Snee!" cries one. "He asssksss if you want another alliance againsssst the Queen." said Slyclaw. "Persssonally I'd tell him to ssssod off." OOC you have 2 rounds or so until the Queen gets to the beach and the door is breached. You have no idea who is on the other side, but their shoulder barging seems... insistent.

Will Darness Will considers the pipe carefully. Is it shallow enough to wade through? Is the outflow so thick as to prevent swimming anyway? Bearing in mind how difficult it was to get into his armour, will be be able to get out of it without a can opener? It would be embarrassing if hordes of Snee came pouring through the door and Will half out of his armour and unable to move. Still, the Dhesiri may have a point about the plant. And there's no doubt the armour hampers Will's moves a little. "After all, he hasn't given us bad advice yet."
ACTIONS Keeping his eye on the backpack OOC which I've got slightly confused about where it currently is) Will tries to undress with as much speed and efficiency as if he was expecting something good to happen at the end of it.

Klarrrrchur grunts as the drones tears his foe apart, he would have wanted to give it a quick end; a warrior's death, but the drones were too many, “you fought with honour Lizard-man, I salute ya!” He grumbles... then he turns to the others with a passing glance to the wadding wingless dragon...
“So how does every person know this sack is magical other than me?!” Grunt the Dwarf in confusion.
“Well, good idea for Will's armour, but should the plant not suffocate to death in a vacuum. If that is what it is... of course as I just a simple Dwarf sailor who know naught of such things, so, what do I know...?”
“Good idea Slyclaw about the sod off bit. I do not believe it is a battalion of Dwarf Berserkers on the otherside of that door coming to our rescue, so let us now run away (tactically of course) or better still: helter skelter oot of here...!”
Actions:
Actions of Dwarf... Rush for sludge hole after helping Will with his armour and if rest are in agreement place his own pack and the plant in sack also...

OOC Will succeeds with L1SR on Dex (9AP earned on 119AP) and gets several buckles off, saving time as Firdle and Slyclaw help and Klarrrrchur joins in.
With his armour peeled off Will sees the clothes and skin underneath permanently etched (or so it seems) with the tar like Snee poop that gets everywhere and stays there. With a sigh and trying not to think of his lustrous hair the young warrior can at least enter the drain hole without fear of drowning!
The sack which had contained far more of the food and trading goods that the Urucks/Ogre had brought to the Queen was indeed magical. There was no way it could otherwise fit in boxes and crates of food and have space for more besides. Indeed, reaching in revealed the arm would sink to the shoulder past where the bottom of the back was.
Firdle knew that these 'bags of holding' were good so long as you didn't cut them open with anything sharp so if the axe were to go in there the blades would need wrapping with something.
Klarrrrchur moves to the drain where Glarpy had vanished moments before. A low rough wall on the edge of the lake/scum pond separated it, and when the water level rose too high from rainwater or (ugh!) birthing fluids it would spill over and down the chute/tunnel.
Checking the water was safe to wade into the Dwarf moved to the wall and found it up to his chin, so around five feet high or so. No sign of the glarplings yet, those voracious young that seemed intent on devouring not only their mother but everything else in the chamber!
With the plant safely dropped into the sack and the Delvers marvelling at the magic in such an object, they decided it was time to leave when the Glarp Queen dived under the water and out of sight, powering towards the beach.
At almost the same time the bar crashed inwards, the door shattered and a tangle of arms, legs, bodies, sharp toothed jaws, razor sharp claws and long lashing tails piled in!
They were a mixture of Snee and Glarp, fighting, tangled and too many to count! The roars of "Snee!" and "Glarp" intermingled to a sort of "Snlarp" sound and were interrupted by screams of pain, dying gurgles and the sounds of bones being broken!
In a very short time indeed the beach would be the most dangerous place to stand!
OOC ok guys, let's have Saving Rolls for:
Strength for swimming Dexterity for squeezing through narrow spots Con for holding your breath Luck for, well, being lucky IQ for not getting lost, because the soakaway (unhelpfully) splits into several side tunnels that are dead ends. Literally, unless you can breathe underwater!
Don't worry about failing one or more of these, but fumbles might be a problem! Any applicable talents feel free to apply with a sort of explanation. For instance Sailor would assume a reasonable chance of being able to swim so adds to strength, not that Klarrrrchur really needs much luck in that regard...
