I'll admit I'm a sucker for games set in Ancient Greece and I got this one for that very reason; Adventures of Sinbad, the Golden Fleece, the Labors of Hercules etc... etc..... how could I pass it up.
Sadly while a beautiful game and great concept, the combat system is overly complicated and the rules are at the lower end of 'well written'. So disappointment abounds. What I got was a Greek themed RPG that wasn't very special.
BUT
Why not convert it to a T&T rule set?
So I checked it over and it looks like without ANY conversion it'll work fine. Each 'monster' counter either has a strength rating or a weapons rating on it. Strength varies from 7 (like wolves) up to 30 (Kraken) which I just read as the MR rating so from 1 to 4 dice monsters. For those with weapons; well a swords a sword and a bows a bow so just ignore what the counter shows (d6+1) and use the numbers in the rule book (I play ed 5.5).
What you now have is a Greek themed adventure game for newer / low level characters where you're assigned a number of tasks to do while wandering around the Mediterranean.
It's a Print and Play from Berserker games; you get a 6 sheet map of the lands around the Med, some different 'battle maps' and lots of counters with all kinds of real and Greek mythos animals / monsters. Quest Cards, Divine Aid Cards (hey those Gods and Goddesses were big back then), also various Hero's and Commoners that will either join your party or fight you.
Play either solo or as a group with no DM needed as the game mechanics fill in for the DM nicely.
