I’m happy to see the place thriving.
I’m glad of all the new folks brought to the game and to this community.

I’m glad to see some of our most esteemed are still present and active. mahrundl especially. Also, bigjackbrass , gaptooth , my favorite Alaskan nemesis: Aramis of Erak , mgtremaine , zanshin ….

No, I did not forget you ProfGremlin …..BUT, I’m so far removed from posting in forums the past couple of years I’ve forgotten all the HTML I used to so easily bang out, so I can’t link anything nor tag folks. Hahah! Help! Edit my post! 😁

And, of course, Marv, [Vin Ahrr Vin ]who started this amazing junkyard!

I’m very sad to not see a recent post in a long while from TKD…. Toad-Killer-Dog . I know he had some medical issues. I hope he’s okay. His contributions were rather significant here.

Though T&T is no longer my go-to, it will forever remain a strong source of inspiration. Indeed, to me, it’s far more inspirational than the old-school D&D (and clones) I now use/have gone back too. T&T is still an explosive fuel to me.
And this place…and all you folks…wow….so much imagination…and fun…and great ideas.

Forgive me if I seem one too many Rum & Cokes beyond thinking “Ator the Fighting Eagle” is an amazing film.
But, hey….I have a date tomorrow and I’m honestly such a bundle of nerves right now I’m seriously, after this post, about to go outside to the driveway and wash my car at 3:45am!! LOL!

Toad-Killer-Dog is indeed very much missed, as are many others who have journeyed with us for a time before their paths diverged from ours.

I hope that your date goes really well, and that your car is super shiny!

Ator the Fighting Eagle *is* an amazing film. 'Good' may be a harder descriptive to apply to it, though that does not prevent me from owning a copy...

machfront, I came to T&T feeling like it was the perfect chassis to bolt on a bunch of complicated house rules. Reading your T&T handfulls was part of a major awakening for me about the potential of the game. Like you, I now prefer the earliest editions. I'm not against house rules, but I've become a lot more surgical and purposeful when mucking with the game.

These days, I'm usually running something other than T&T too, but I share your sense of explosive fuel latent in the game. Part of that sense was unlocked by our back-and-forth here.

I'm really thrilled to see you posting again, at least while the season of your favor lasts.
