Klarrrrchur Deathaxe:
For a moment Jepistra looked quite pleasant in the morning sun till he remembers it was just a toilet. Then he rushes after the remaining pirates.
“Darn!” he hissed “I cannie let them go, with my luck, the one that flees is the one I need to chit chat with!”
Actions:
Actions of Dwarf... Rush the three...
Nialldubh rolls 2d6+15 = 3 +2 + 15 = 20 SPD.
Nialldubh rolls 2d6+18 = 1 +3 + 18 = 22 LK.
Nialldubh rolls 2d6+15 = 5 +4 + 15 = 24 DEX.

Will offers a smart and charismatic argument, suggesting the Pirates turn over a new leaf.
They clearly aren't very good at what they do, otherwise they'd be on a boat or rich somewhere, or poor after being rich for a short time because booze and hookers ain't cheap.
Unfortunately it's undermined somewhat by Firdles' cold logic suggesting they are all to hang for impersonating the militia regardless and may as well attack the Delvers to attempt to gain their freedom because they have nothing to lose.
OOC Will gains 8 and 20 (+20%) for 33AP (total 347AP) but is somewhat undermined by Mr Spocks less charming protege who basically suggests the Pirates are screwed from hereon and may as well try to escape because they will hang anyway. Still, 14AP for the cold hard logic (Firdle 429AP total) even if it does make one of the Pirates burst into tears.
Will doesn't get time to remonstrate or roll his eyes though as the thumping footsteps coming up the stairs suggest someone big is coming.
From one of the downstairs rooms the Delvers didn't check.
"Now yer for it!" cackles a Pirate. "Meanest, ugliest, son of a pox ridden pirate is comin' through that door!"
THUD! THUD! THUD!

OOC 18AP for Klarrrrchur (81AP total)
The Dwarf sprints, slides, jumps, rolls and clambers across the rooftops. He sees the Pirates getting close to the town square which is getting busier by the moment...
This is going to be close!
He leaps off the roof of a dwelling and pulls a face. Is that awning going to... no, it holds, and he bounces forward and off to land in a stacked pile of crates holding... well, mushed something now.
"Oy!" roars the storeholder, seeing his wares splattered and scattered as the Dwarf scrambles free and runs with weapons out...
... to confront the three running Pirates who turn from climbing down from a roof into the sight of a well armed and meaty looking Dwarf who, for some reason, has been rolling in foul smelling tar or...
"Is that poop?" asks one of the Pirates, pulling a face even as he pulls a dagger out.
The three Pirates - not being particularly smart - fancy their chances against the Dwarf!

Klarrrrchur Deathaxe:
“My pardon, working for the Militia and they will refund you!” Calls out the Dwarf, 'or not...' he thinks to himself.
“Well yes and no, it's what's left of yer best friend's innards. Stand fast our die young ya swabs!”
Pulling out Deathcrusher and his trusted mace, he confronted the trio, “this is yer last chance, surrender or feel the weight of mi crushers!”
Actions:
Actions of Dwarf... The usual tactic of making pirates unconscious...
Nialldubh rolls 20d6+63 = 1 +6 +5 +6 +2 +3 +4 +1 +4 +1 +5 +4 +2 +5 +6 +4 +4 +3 +4 +4 + 63 = 137 (Three 1s, three 6) Nada.

Will Darness "An ugly woman? Doesn't sound familiar, and after all I know a lot about fashion," thinks Will . Aloud he says to Firdle, "If this lot aren't going to help we might as well kill 'em. Prepare to meet your innards, lads."
ACTIONS Tries a slightly different tack of intimidating the prospering giving out some information. Meanwhile keeping his eye on the door and his swords at the ready.

Will and Firdle turned, ready for .. well, anything that came through the door.
The Pirates were eager. 'Big' Malick was mean, horrible to get on with, a bully and just as soon to betray his comrades for a few gold as any low born snake of a Pirate out there, but he loved to fight. These two, weapons or no, were about to get the hiding of their lives!
The door opened and Klemitz stepped through. On his hands were two very large - and blood stained - brass knuckles.
"Some bloke downstairs tried it on." he snarled, slightly out of breath. "Big fella, even bigger'n me. When ee wakes up ees gonna need a straw to eat 'is food through. Broken jaw. No good fer chewin' or yappin or anythin' else, see?"
The pirates wailed, petrified, as Klemitz stomped over.
"Good work you two." he growled at Will and Firdle. "I'll soon get some informa..."
The bells, which had been constantly clang, clang, clang then a pause, then clang, clang, clang, started to clang, clang, clang, pause, clang, pause, clang, clang, clang before they repeated.
"d**n!" snarled Klemitz, moving to the window. "Can't see owt from ere. Oy!" he shouted to the soldier in the alley. "Get up 'ere! Guard this lot. If they twitch, gut the bloke next to im and tell im the twitcher's next!"
He turned to the Pirates "You lot are fer th' noose. You got one chance, an' it's up ta Franick ta decide. Eee won't be appy you posed as 'is lads, not 'appy at all."
He crouched, grabbing a surly pirate who was about to say something. BANG!
The brass covered fist cracked the pirate on the jaw and he fell backwards.
"That were just a tap." snarled Klemitz. "Any aggro from you lot an' there won't be no noose. See my lads 'is worse'n me. I play nice, wi these..." he held up a brass knuckle. "They will just stick ya, an' you'll end up bleedin' out ere. Saves on th' paperwork too. Just a warnin. Stay quiet, don't move, behave... an' we'll see what Franick says. Any bother?"
He ran a finger over his neck and grinned before standing and turning to the soldier that came in.
"Raggins. Owt outta this lot and stick is mate next door. Any more aggro, stick em all. We got more lads on th' way." he said to the mean looking soldier that came in. The fellow gave a gap toothed grin and pulled out a sharp looking knife with serrated edges. Not regulation issue. "Awright lads." he hissed. "Oo wants to cause any bother, eh?" he grinned.
Klemitz flicked his head to Will and Firdle and the trio moved out onto the landing and down the stairs.
"Bother." said Klemitz. He stepped over the body of a huge guy dressed in soiled pirate attire in the downstairs hall. He must have been several inches over Klemitz' head who was a big man himself. There was blood leaking from his jaw and an indentation in the wall where he'd fallen.
As they stepped out into the street the Sergeant turned. "This lot is just 'ired turds. They don't know owt, but Franick will wanna set an example to them that disrespects th' militia. Right now though..." all heard the 3 clang, pause, 1 clang, pause, 3 clang repeat at places through the town. "We need to get to the North gate!"

OOC apn rolls 8d6+2 = 3 +6 +4 +2 +1 +1 +1 +4 + 2=24 less 2 impl apn rolls 2d6 = 3 +4=7 total 17. Crikey that's rubbish. 40 damage apiece.
The pirates stepped in, grinning. The Dwarf was about to get even shorter! They'd cut him down to size an' have a tale to tell later in the...
BANG!
CRACK!
WALLOP!
Without even breaking sweat Klarrrrchur stepped in and flattened all three. They'd be out for a while too. His skill and knowing where to strike ensured that it would be near twice as long as usual they stayed down (OOC Swordsman talent in this case added +50% to time these guys stay down).
He heard the bells clanging and looked up. The traders and early morning shoppers were used to ruckus and violence and were about to go about their business with the aggrieved stall trader closing in on Klarrrrchur. Instead he muttered "North gate. That's... not far from 'ere!" He rushed back to his stall and started packing away, pulled a face as the crushed fruit and vegetables and stacked the crates on anyway.
All around the square people were packing up and shoppers were hurrying away from the place, in any direction away from the north end of the square.
Jogging boots on cobbles could be heard and the Dwarf turned. Entering the square from an East/south east street were a dozen militia. They looked a slovenly lot, one or two were still pulling clothes on, but they were headed to the north. The man in front looked over at the Dwarf, then the three downed men. "Keep going!" he yelled at the others and jogged over, slightly out of breath.
It was the bespectacled Sergeant Fotheringay who looked more a scholar than a soldier. Still, he was immaculately turned out compared to the unshaven rabble jogging north. "I know you. You're one of the Delvers the Captain sent to the Jungle!" he declared. "What happened to you? Is that...?" he pulled a face at the stink, covering his nose.
"There's trouble at the north gate. The lockdown stops anyone getting in or out but the signal change means all free hands to the North gate. Care to join us?" asked the Sergeant. He seemed completely opposite to Klemitz, and a stiff breeze might blow him over... but the sword at his side was expensive and non standard, the boots gleamed with the spit and polish of one who takes pride in his work. Though he looked soft, Klarrrrchur saw in his eyes behind the glasses that 'look'. The look of Eagles his Grandpa called it. Experienced Fighters had it, those ready to throw down at a moments notice and fight for their lives, as opposed to others who were ready to run at the first sign of bother.
Chances were the Sergeant could fight, and well, despite his out of step appearance compared to the other Militia.
Fotheringay glanced down at the three. "I'll send someone to mop this lot up. Doubtless there's a tale to tell but our priority is the North gate!"
OOC Klarrrrchur earns 99AP (180AP total) easiest AP he'll EVER earn!

Klarrrrchur Deathaxe:
While Fotheringay was talking, Klarrrrchur was wrapping the three pirates in shyt cover rope that he had taken out his backpack that was in the sack, that was in the cat, that was...
“Aye, sound good,” he gave a boot at the closest pirate that groaned in his induced sleep, “these fellas will be oot fa awhile, so noo problemo!”
He turns and starts jogging with the sergeant to the northgate.
He thinks to himself, 'hope this is something to do with this plant or ye auld Rathmere is dead!'
Actions:
Actions of Dwarf... Run to Northgate.

Klarrrrchur and Fotheringay caught up with the Sergeants' small troupe and jogged through the streets.
In truth they seemed much like a maze to the Dwarf but the soldiers unerringly guided themselves to the northern quarter and the gate there in short time...
... about the same time Will Darness and Firdle the Adequate arrived along with Sergeant Klemitz of the militia.
The Northern gate was a wide open cobbled area ringed by shops and dwellings, some of the temporary. Though designated a 'not to build on space' it seemed the locals were encroaching more and more each week until the town planners sighed and started drawing up plans to expand outwards. Again.
The palisade was a sturdy wood type some twenty feet high with a walkway along its length. The gates were reinforced with iron bands and thick enough - one assumed - to withstand a battering ram for a reasonable length of time.
Guards here - around a dozen or so, stood on the wall and in front of the gate, and a man on horseback was conversing with them. From this distance they couldn't be sure, but it certainly looked like Captain Franick of the militia.
"What the devil?" spluttered Klemitz. He nodded to Fotheringay who indicated to his men to encircle from one side with the Delvers reunited and Klemitz to come from the other.
Closer, they heard the 'Captain' call out. "If you do not open this gate right now I shall have you flogged, court martialed, hung, drawn, quartered and fed to the sharks, and not necessarily in that order!"
"But sir!" pleaded a Corporal, clearly at odds with his standing order and the order Franick had given. "When bells a ringing no one in or out. Them's th' orders. You yerself signed em off an' no mistakin' th' fear o gods you put in all o us woe betide these gates open when them bells toll."
He looked behind Franick and sighed of relief. "Sarge!" he declared. "Looks sir, eers Sergeant Klemitz!"
"Stand down from the horse Captain Franick!" barked the Sergeant. "That's an order!"
"You seek to order me?!?!" spluttered Franick.
"He does... and so do I!" bellowed another Captain Franick on horseback as he entered the North Gate area! The horse looked lathered, as though whipped and pushed to get here as fast as possible! The Captain wasn't fully dressed, lacking armour but his imposing presence was felt by all... including confused guards who had no knowledge of the shape shifter!
Speaking of which... 'Captain Franick' slid from horseback. "He's an imposter!" he declared, pointing at the other Franick. "SEIZE HIM!"
OOC you are moving and not quite in combat range. By now you've all been jogging for a few minutes...

Will Darness "Blast him!" cries Will not sure if it's a suggestion or a curse. He scans the Franicks for clues such as a forked tongue or a plant sticking out of his pocket. Anything to confirm which one he should be fighting when the rough stuff begins.

Klarrrrchur Deathaxe:
“Ya Bass,” hurls abuse at the Franick that wanted to ride out the gate. “I'll cut oot yer liver and feed on it!”
He charges the horse from the side and attempts to tip it over by grabbing its legs and battering his shoulder in its central half...
Actions:
Actions of Dwarf... Tip over horse and proceed to batter the person or thing on it into unconscious.
Tactical charge at horse to bowl it over... Nialldubh rolls 2d6+66 = 5 +3 + 66 = 74.
Nialldubh rolls 20d6+64 = 6 +6 +6 +6 +6 +5 +4 +4 +4 +6 +2 +2 +4 +3 +3 +6 +3 +3 +4 +3 + 64 = 150 (nae 1s, six 7s)...
Exploding 7d6: = 27.
Total: 177 (must be peeved).
To Stun: Nialldubh rolls 2d6+66 = 1 +4 + 66 = 71.
OOC: Presuming, a Round 1, charge horse, round 2, pummel the thing! Or however you perceive it...

Seeing the Dwarf charge towards the 'Captain' on horseback, said 'Captain' spins the horse about and starts to head towards the alleyway where Klemitz and the Delvers (sounds like a bad boy band) have just emerged from...
Will sees a horse pounding towards him... the plan is clearly to crash through and head towards the western gate...
Klemitz snarled "Not on my watch!" and moved to stand in front of the horses' path, waving his arms and shouting!
Firdle, being smart, figured the Sarge was banking on the horse not being a warhorse. Such a beast would not hesitate to crash through whatever was stood in front of it. Any other might think twice... or crash through.
Klarrrrchur gave chase, and the other Franick on lathered sweaty horse spurred his mount on across the square to give chase. "Guard the gates! No one in or out!" he ordered in a sharp bark.
OOC Klarrrrchur is running after the horse/franick copy (there's little doubt now the 'Captain' turning tail and running), Will and Firdle are sort of in the path of the horse/Franick copy and must either get out the way, attack, cast a spell or think of a plan so cunning you could pin a tail on it and call it a weasel. Oh, you've got like, a few seconds before the horse barrels into you! Klemitz seems determined to get the horse to stop by 'forcing' it.

Will Darness Will attempts to dodge out of the way of the horse whilst simultaneously cutting at its face to make it pull up. As this is a cruel stunt he uses the Vorpal sword to forestall any objections from Asuwil.
ACTIONS Dodge and slash. OOC using the new Rolz dice room I set up WDdrTry1 which should be accessible to all:
WillDarness rolls 2d6 = 4 +5 = 9 Which I think should be a L1 PASS on DEX or SPD
