For those who are lucky enough to get there, TrollCon has started. For everyone else, there's still the TrollBridge! ;D

Does this mean that nobody went to the convention?

Many (well, approximately 35) went. At least 2 (I can specifically recall recognising that many names) have been or are denizens of this board. So some Trolls went, but don't seem to have come back to share the joy. *pouts*

35 is not too bad of a turn out for a game that unfortunately has just a cult following.(unless they all lived in the neighborhod of the convention). I hope they'll have another one someday (preferably in Orlando so I can just drive down the road ;D)

The Flying Buffalo website has a bit of information on the con, including the item that they are already planning another con for next year.
I'm fairly certain that not everyone was local. I've read a few comments about people spending the day either side of the con travelling, which seems to imply that they were going a fair distance.

Well, I ran across this while randomly searching for blogs about T&T (I was bored). Apparently, fellow Trollbridge member Kopfy has a blog and he posted about the con and included pictures, which include, I assume, some of you, though I don't know who anyone is. kopfy.blogspot.com/2008/08/of-flying-buffalo-trolls-and-phoenixes.htmlLooks like it was a good time.

Yes, it was a very good time. I flew in from Colorado.
Kopfy has an excellent break down of the convention experience. I show up in a couple of pictures.
For those who did not come, please save up some bucks and come and visit. I spent roughly $1000 me and my son to fly, stay, and eat. The hotel is awesome. The room I was in had 2 queen size beds AND a sofa bed.
I'd definitely share a room with anyone I met at the convention. The best part is how great everyone is. Not only good gamers, but also good people.

Yea....I had a wonderful time in Phoenix and a better time at the Con. I was by myself and spent about the same amount, but I was flying in a day early and from NC. I also rented a car to do some sight-seeing. Had a suite with a single King-size for the same price. I think I am in the same pic with Talonfire. Correct me if I am wrong. I am definitely planning to return next year. I feel like I have a title to defend, being the one who was voted the top player (which I am still in shock).

Dragonwulfe, I should hope you know what picture you're in ;D See everyone! How fun is TrollCon? People walk away having forgotten who they are!?! But seriously, Dragonwulfe is being modest about the experience. He did a great job at TrollCon. Everyone was impressed with his gaming style. Finding a precious ruby has never been more exciting. Eight Skulls of Chaos would not have moved as smoothly without a modest dreamer. My own Rogue wouldn't have lived if Dragonwulfe and another Rogue stood their ground with me for a last stand against human and hyenakin bandits. The hardest part of the convention was knowing that choosing to play one game meant I had to give up other games. I was glad Byron and Khaid'haik ran the same adventures multiple times. I got a chance to play their adventure AND not miss out on another game.

Dragonwulfe, welcome to the Trollbridge!
And congratulations on your title! You may want to consider it putting in the 'Personal Text' section of your profile. After all, what are titles for, if not to be flaunted?
