What the hell, I figure I'll advertise a T&T chat game every year and maybe one of these...years, i'll get enough interest to get a T&T game going Without further ado... Skath's Chat game looking for players! ;D Let me know if there's any interest.

Why don't you do a play-by-post?

Skath,
It's tempting, but: a) I'm on the other side of the planet, so timing could be tricky, and b) I'm about to have an ankle reconstruction done, which will have me laid up in bed for several weeks.

Why don't you do a play-by-post? Simply because it a litle more time-intensive for the GM. With chat (or SKYPE), everyone meets at a certain time and you game for a few hours and then it's done t'ill next game. When I ran my B/X PbP, I had to log on 4=5 times a day, check if all the posts were in, etc. As a last resort, I'll do PbP, but I find chat to be the best next thing to Face-to-Face gaming. Sure, it's a little slower at first, especially as folks who never gamed together get used to each other, but once that's done it's pretty fluid. I ran a really satisfying C&C game which ran close to 2 years, once every 2 weeks. One thing gaming via chat has that trumps Face-to-Face gaming is that you get to reach a global audiance. It might be hard finding T&T players in my area, but it becomes much easier when "my area" includes the whole (internet using) world. ;D

Hell, for T&T, i'll run a game whenever potential players are interested! That's right all you T&T fans in China or Australia...if you're interested, i'll gladly sacrifice sleep to run a game

b) I'm about to have an ankle reconstruction done, which will have me laid up in bed for several weeks. Screw the game! You just concentrate on a speedy recovery, and get well soon! I'll send a few Poor Baby spells your way (hopefully I have enough INT and DEX).

Thanks Skath. If not for the fact that I'll be flat on my back (making typing difficult) and probably rather 'vague' from painkillers, it would be a good opportunity to play. I suspect that I'm going to be rather bored over the next few weeks...
