Hey Boozer, I reckon you've still got more gamers near you than I have But yeah, the Americans have it good in that respect. Of course, the US having something like 20 times the population of Australia, I'd be surprised if they didn't have more gamers.

Bah! No chance of ever meeting up with you lot, living on this lonely island UK Perhaps, but you probably have the advantage of buying Games Workshop products cheaper than here in the US. My son recently discovered Warhammer 40,000 and I can't believe how expensive the little guys are.

Stop Press re 7th edition! Ken has said on his website ( www.geocities.com/Area51/Cavern/9921/) that 7th edition may not be ready in time for GenCon. I quote: Sorry if I raised people's hopes about being able to get it there, but prior to today I thought that everything was on track.

Khenn Arrth said... " Trollgod reporting in from Indianapolis. Luckily my hotel--the Courtyard Mariott--has some free internet computers in the lobby for patrons. It was a heck of a long day on the airplanes today, but Rick has been picking up all the bills like a champ. Three beds in one small hotel room--that's gonna be kinda crowded. Tomorrow we set up in the convention center and try to get me a badge, and find somee better places to eat. This hotel has no restaurant but TGIF. Good food but expensive."

Khenn Arrth said... " GenCon report 2. The facts quickly: We set up the Flying Buffalo Booth. i saw the free part of the Indiana State Museum. Talked with Mike Stackpole for a short time. The Fiery Dragon staff arrived, but the T & T games they were bringing to the Con got hung up in customs. Don't know whether it will reach Indianapolis before the con is over or not. And I had my knee buckle on me as i was trotting across a street tonight and drop me to the concrete sidewalk. It was a slow controlled fall, but i still lost a layer of skin from left elbow and right knee. Ouch!"

Khenn Arrth said... " Thursday morning. First day of the convention starts. Rick is hopeful that he'll have good sales. I hope so too. We've got a ton of merchanidise in the booth. I already have over 2 pounds of free stuff. I need to get off computer and get to show. Hoping to see Verdius and Vinh tomorrow. V-day!"

Also, he told me the T&T games are at 11am and 3pm, at least tentatively. Hope that's not too late and helps someone. Probably just Vin himself. Hey Vin, not that i'll see you prost probably in time, but when & where will you be at the big Con?

Came and went already. It was a one-day hit-and-run trip (Thursday).

Well, it's all over and done with. So, who managed to go and what did they think of it all?
