I'm bummed about modules just now. Our group has been having time conflicts for a while now, and we game so infrequently and modules take us soooo long to complete, that beginning anything basically means committing to it as a campaign for the year. I don't mind campaigns, but I do like to sample new settings and eras and worlds. Sometimes we can set aside one world and then come back to it, but often going to something new--even a one-off--means we've finished with the old.

I tend to speed modules along so that the players only stay in a module for a few sessions. I agree that they can become boring otherwise.

We play hardly ever these days,so whenever we do manage a session, it is just usually a single-session scenario. The players still have some delvers trapped in 'Rat on a Stick', and the last time we played was months ago. Heaven only knows when we will manage another game session Having said that, I am planning on writing another [glow=orange,2,300]HALLOWEEN [/glow]special, if I get time. Keep a look out for it over at the Tavern, although if I do manage to churn one out, I'll probably announce it on the Trollwalla.

Although there are 24 numbered solos, you need to consider that the 1st editions of Dargon's Dungeon and Overkill were VASTLY different from the much more common 2nd editions. Also, most of the earlier solos had some revisions made when 5th edition arrived. Other "Official" adventures include: a. A Computer Generated Dungeon (FBI & Compleat Strategist) b. Arena of Death (KSA / Infinity Ltd) c. Archives Arcane (Zeppelin Publications) d. Tomb of the Mummy King (Flying Buffalo) - which is still available from FBI in the "Bonus Pack"
There were also a number of items released by Tori Bergquist, Andrew McLaren and Bob Liddil between 1978 and 1986. Plus many bootleg releases of rules and modules, done without permissions from KSA or FBI.

Cheers for that update Ironfang! I just ordered the pack containing 'Tomb of the Mummy King' from Rick Loomis at FB, just to add to my collection of T&T stuff. I'll let you all know what I think of the pack when it arrives, which, knowing Rick's past service, will be pretty d**n quick! But for a mere $10 (OK, plus postage to UK) it looks a nice set.

I'm in between adventures with my game group, and a one-shot Halloween delving might be just the thing to jump-start our group again!

The T&T wiki USED to have cover shots of all the rules and modules, but the page is no longer there. That, or I'm just too stupid to find it...

The "Tomb" is just a small adventure, but the tables are very nice, you get some of the old "Official" character sheets, and the charts from the long-gone Survival Guide & Binder were always quite handy. The best thing though is the full-color reprint of "Abyss". This is a great pocket solo for ANY LEVEL or CLASS or RACE character -- and LONG out-of-print.

Thanks for that Ironfang. I always like to see what others have written and have made it to print, so I can compare my own stuff. Abyss is a classic, which I already have unfortunately, but I think now I have 4 T&T solo duplicates, so I may post them on eBAY sometime or give them out as presents. The only mini-solo I didn't manage to get hold of was Goblin Lake, although as I may have said before, I do have a copy I printed from the internet some years ago. No idea where I found it or why it was there at all! Also, it will be nice to have some of the old 'official' character sheets for nostalgic reasons and to add to the collection. The Survival Guide and Binder sounds interesting too! All in all it sounds like a nice package to have for the price (even with p&p to the UK it ain't too bad).

OK Vin, if I manage to churn-out a Halloween scenario, I'll mention it here, although the way things are going at the moment I dunno when I can find the time. If I do do it though, I can guarantee it will be very silly...

Silly is good. T & T does silly very well.
Not that you can't do serious with it, but it is quite easy to do a silly one-off or even campaign in the system. One of the reasons I like it so much.

My group has had a few Halloween gaming sessions; they're the best! And Mahrundl is right; silly is good.

OK, it's in the making! [glow=green,2,300]SPOOKY JACK'S HALLOWEEN DUNGEON [/glow](also titled 'It's a Wind-Up') It promises to be very silly and a lot of fun. I hope to upload it to the Tavern towards the end of the month, but in plenty of time for the 31st.

Just a slight correction to Boozer's list; 'Eleven Lords is a solo adventure.
FB published 'Castle Ward' an introduction to the 'Dungeon of the Bear'. This is not incorporated into all editions.
There is also the 'Thieves World' rpg box set containing T&T material.
Several magazines besides 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' have published T&T adventures. White Dwarf published the 'Mad Dwarf' solo. 'Hela's House of Dark Delights' appeared in New Worlds. I was introduced to T&T by a mini solo in Gamer and I also own copies of Imagine and Tortured Souls containing multi-system solos including T&T.
