Having recently got back into T&T I am really excited at all the new solos and source materials available. More than my pocket allows! Could people post capsule reviews of any products that have particularly impressed them to give me a guide as to my priorities for purchase?
Thanks!

T&T Superheroes.
A slightly misleading name-while while any of the concepts, rules or powers may be ported to either T&T or MS&PE, T&TS is a self-contained game in its own right. T&T is recommended if you wish to play a Wizard PC or use the T&T Kindreds as a Fantasy/Alien race though.
A few new rules: Superpowers(DUH!). Wealth as an Attribute and the Wealth SR to purchase pricey equipment. The Endurance Attribute(derived from other Attributes) that fuels Powers. Stun vs. Lethal Damage.
Does it work? I object to some of the ultra-high power levels T&TS allows-however it wouldn't be a Comic-book Emulation if it didn't, so this can be read as a personal quirk on the reviewer's part. It has encouraged me to create my own variant(this is actively encouraged by the designers BTW!) for MS&PE, a lower-powered version entilted "GILDED AGE: Pulp Supers in MS&PE". Sadly, my 50+ hour weeks bending steel in Mordor are curtailing this desire so far... (><)
I'll be purchasing more from "that guy" later on (as explained in another thread, I feel I must maintain discipline and limit myself to one product a month) so i'll try to remember to post as the products are assimilated.

Starfaring by Ken St. Andre. (short month huh? No, i've not broken my vows yet, I recieved it as an unexpected bonus game in my T&T Superheroes order-thanks "that guy", i'm hooked now! ) Starfaring is an odd little thing, a combination of Space Wargame, PC-centered Sci-fi RPG and Metagame strangeness, wrapped in a rules-light format and with a Phil Folglio-style humor dripping from the pages. Rules: PC Generation is servicable and fast-Crew Races may be Human, Androgyne(geneticly altered to possess no gender) Androids(made from Vat-grown protoplasm), and Robots(mechanical beings). However, the default play assumption is that the Player(aka the Ship Master) actually designs the Starship as his/her PC! The Ship Design Rules are five times as complex as Crew Generation, and the assumption of this game is that the Galaxy Master(GM) will referee multiple players, each playing a Ship! Rules for Actions, Psi Powers, Combat, Injury etc...simple but workable. So Rules-light it makes T&T look like AD&D. I'm not kidding. Lots of hilarious cartoons. End result-not my cup of tea, I don't think it would fit my group at all- (let's be honest, the only thing that would fit my current gang is an explosion in a straitjacket factory) I was laughing out loud reading it though, and still chuckling on the re-read(rare for me). I will say that I can see huge Metagaming fun for anyone willing to give it a try. I can easily see: Default setting of PC Ships juggling Crew as a type of Resource/pawn reserve- One player as Ship and other PCs as Crew in a necessary symbiosis- Multiple Cew having to deal with the Ship as a GMPC- In short, Starfaring would rock in the right hands-not mine however. And any fans of Phil Foglio's Buck Godot series would immediately place thier games squarely in the Gallimauphry, it's a perfect fit.

Gotta get that.
Have wanted to see that since I first saw it advertised in the back of some T&T related something (maybe a solo mod).
Now "that company" has it, huh? I guess I need to take a trip....

"that company" publishes great stuff.
The 2007 House rules supplement is great. My favorite item yet though is the Mythical 6th edition of T&T. It takes all of the goodness of both 5.5e and 7e and smashes them into a totally clean and beautiful gaming object. Because it is T&T you can put in whatever else you want to put in.
The Monstrous Codicum is also good. It has a beholder converted for T&T within. Die dirty treasure stealers!

Went to go take a look, but my Google-Fu has failed me! What's the address? It's not outlawpress.com and putting "that company" in the seach engine didn't help.

What have you people done to me??? I go there to have a look around, knowing that I'm not interested in actually buying anything..... And now I'm waiting for my T&T 1st and 4th editions!!! And I'm certain there will be more next month... maybe sooner. Thanks a lot! (That was intended to be a sarcastic "thanks a lot" but actually it's not!). Hey, did you know he doesn't add tax and shipping and stuff to his products? What you see is what you pay! You know, that's pretty freakin' cool. ::love::

Any reviews/opinions on Outlaw's solos? If people could post some reviews for those of us of limited finances it'd be appreciated. (Not that I wouldn't just say ONE OF EVERYTHING PLEASE! if I could, but unfortunately not at the moment... lil' things like Real Life intrude

Besides the mini solos in Hobbit Hole magazine, I've only got one of their solos: Wytches, and honest to gawd, it's the best solo I've ever played. I don't know about the reply value as I haven't 'won' yet, but it keeps me coming back trying to win! The thing plays like a Lovecraft story for the first half, and then slightly like Dante's Inferno for the second half, so it's quite enjoyable.
