I notice from looking at Khenn's website that Boozer's Goblin Crag module will be issued as a Special GenCon Edition. This brings several questions to mind.
1. Is this special edition pretty much the same as the levels downloadable in Hobgoblin's Tavern? Does this edition have all four levels?
2. Is it actually for sale at GenCon or is it just a special game Khenn is running?
3. Why isn't this module in the "for sale" list in Hobgoblin's Tavern? If I buy one at GenCon I can't get it autographed because Boozer is still trapped in the UK.
More as I think of them. ;D

1. From what i understood the GC GC (go figure! :-) ) Would was just level one, and the actual content wouldn't change much from the online version.
2. It is for sale, and also being run, that much i know.
3. The Tavern Master will have to answer that himself :-) But to give it a stab, i'd say it's because he's a very nice kind of guy who likes to offer as much for free as he can. Or he could just be silly.. heheh.. But really, i think it's free because it's just an e-version. If you want an autographed, printed version i'm sure he would be happy to oblige at a fair price, based on my dealings with him. The shipping may be a few pound sterling tho, but it's sure to be worth it.

I'll echo Verdius' comments. He's spot on with everything, except that the GenCon version has been slightly amended by Khenn. I don't know the details of what's changed.
Boozer's a nice chap, and he may well do an autographed copy if you ask nicely and cover his costs. But as Verdius says, that's his call.

I'm having fun playing Gerrick the Orc over at the Blue Frog Tavern, I think there are still openings for new players so contact Weird Ollie to join in:-)
With that new cover I will be buying one, after I finish playing of course.

I really want a copy too, and hope i can make it to GenCon to get it. Has it been offered outside of the Con? I wish it was offered thru Trollhalla but only one copy went up for auction.
I finally joined the BFT the other day. Maybe i'll find the time to join in.

Hi all. Thanks for starting a thread for my dungeon. Here's my story... Y'know, I never thought this dungeon would prove to be such a classic! I started it in my lunch hours at work for something to do! Well, Ken said he wanted to use it at GenCon, and wanted to add some lore from his Trollworld. I said OK and asked Ramsen Triton if he would do a nice cover, and told Rick Loomis that I would draw-up a nice 'professional looking' map using Autorealm. I wasn't sure at this time if the dungeon was just being photocopied or printed-up properly. As you have all seen, Simon Tranter (Ramsen) has done a wonderful cover! I'm hoping that he will make some in-roads into the FRPG art market when his art is seen. I also gave Ken & Rick permission to sell copies to raise funds. I'm not in all this for the financial reward, I'm just happy to see my work out there. Same story with the books I sell from my web site. However, I would like the full dungeon to be edited and published properly at some point, so I intend to speak with Ken & Rick Loomis with regard to that. Hopefully we can sort something out. They are good guys to deal with. Yes, Ken is just using Level 1 at GenCon. It's a huge dungeon, so the first level should suit Ken's allocated gaming time perfectly. Y'know, I was thinking of posting on the Walla, offering a signed copy by me. But, I decided to wait and see what happened after GenCon with regard to the rest of the dungeon. I've had some chats with Rick Loomis so far and he seems like a fair chap to deal with. If the funds raised from the sale at GenCon are being used to support T&T, then that's fine by me. All I have asked for is a copy of the finished book once Rick has put it together with the cover, credits page, new map, Ken's additions etc. If anyone wants a copy signed by me, I'm sure I can sort something out with Ken's agreement... The reason it isn't for sale at the tavern is that I believe T&T material should be freely distributed, so you will notice that I have a lot of free material on there to print and play. I decided to offer the books because I fancied having a stab at making a book myself. I like hard-copy products, so I figured T&T fans might want something to buy in book form. So I got Ken's permission and offered them for as little as I could afford. The costs I need to cover are paper, binding materials and printing ink, which is a fortune! I bought the binder and binding stuff just for these books, and I haven't even made back the cost of that yet, but again, that doesn't worry me too much. I love making them up and sending them out. However, having said that, if there's ever a 5th level... Of course, what I want to see is FB offering to publish some of my stuff for me. Some people who have bought either Bedlam or MM have offered to email Rick and Ken with their thoughts. I have about 5 T&T projects on the go, and I am currently talking to Ken about them. More on that at a later date. He seems excited by them though. Crikey, what a long post! Sorry If I've bored you guys!

Not boring at all! Thanks for the update. I would like a signed copy, even if I have to buy one at GenCon and mail it to you to be autographed. :-)

Well, I have asked Rick for a copy for myself. How about you drop him an email, ask him to send a few copies to me for signing (fame at last ) then I send them out? Dunno how we would handle who pays who though

We got a copy at GenCon! Looks pretty nice. It's a bunch of loose pages in a ziploc bag, but it does have a color cover.

Glad you got a copy! Rick Loomis sent one to me and although in a ziplok bag, I rahter liked it. Simple and effective, but huge credit goes to Simon Tranter for his amazing colour cover art.

Thanks for starting a thread for my dungeon. Here's my story... Y'know, I never thought this dungeon would prove to be such a classic! ... I was glad to see this topic here also. I have bought three copies of the scenario, two to award to T&T players in convention setting and one for myself. I defiled my own copy with staples and will have Office Max bind the other two before handing them out. Maybe to fit it into my T&T campaign, when I feel the characters are capable of having a chance at completing it-- though it's the first level it's not "first level."
I am curious as to why you use dice other than six-sided in the course of the adventure.

Hi Kopf. I'm glad you got a few copies of the module. Have you checked-out the rest of the levels over at the tavern? I may be talking to Rick at FB with regard to publishing the rest of the adventure. Yes, you are right, it is not a dungeon for new delvers, and the first level is quite tough. I like polyhedral dice. Every gamer has them, so why not find reasons to use them? That's why I like to include them in T&T adventures

Will do so, or just pick up your extended dungeon through FBI, when I am getting ready to send my group through. Have to admit, I am thrilled to see that there is more. A nice long pregenerated group dungeon for T&T, wahooo! Take that Dark Tower!
About the dice, my wife agrees with you. At the same time she is a new player to T&T and likes the creative ways I make varied tables using multiple d6's. But overall, even I can't say that your inclusion of other-than six-sided dice takes away from anything going on in the adventure.

Ok, so I checked out Goblin Crag and it looks pretty cool. What level characters would you suggest for this dungeon and how many characters?
And BTW the cover art IS Great!
