My troll name is Vin Ahrr Vin and I am the creator of the TrollBridge. I have played RPG's since 1975, but am a newcomer to Tunnels and Trolls.
I have three kids, two of whom (10 and 13 years) are fanatics about RPGs. The 13-year-old has just discovered Warhammer 40K.
I have a game group called the "Fellowship of Foragers" and we get together as often as we can, considering that we have jobs or school to deal with. The Foragers been in existance since 1997, playing mostly D&D, Amber Diceless, 7th Sea, Sorcerer, and more recently playtested the Castles & Crusades RPG. Currently, my son is getting addicted to Warhammer 40K.
Who are you?

Well, I am slightly less experienced than you, being born in 1974 and not being able to convince the 'rental units to get me gaming stuff until the mid '80s.
Serious gaming started once I got to college in '92.
One of the members of the aforementioned Forager's. I'm not sure I was a founding member, but I was darn close (began in '97)

Hi, I'm Weird Ollie. Not Weir Dollie. I've been playing RPGs since the late 70s, and got into T&T and M!M! about then. Alas, my gaming group has dwindled down to one stalwart player and the GM (me). We play Kyllia's "Guild Houses of Blood", "Hero System", and of course "Tunnels & Trolls". My favorite is T&T, there's something about the simple mechanics and rules that just works for me. Anyway, luckily I get to play T&T online over at the "Blue Frog Tavern" Yahoo! group and the "PlayByWeb.com" website:) Hooray!
I wish the "TrollBridge" the best, and hope it takes off!

Boozer here, aka Andy Holmes, from Lancashire, UK. Player of T&T for over 20 years, and it was the game that got me into fantasy. Also played a lot of Call of Cthulhu, and some Skyrealms of Jorune, AD&D, Paranoia and bits and pieces of other stuff along the line. Have a T&T website The Hobgoblins Tavern, and had a short period of writing freelance for Pisces All Media, but therein lies another story...

I'm Ahnn Uuh, and I've been gaming since before '94. I've never been a troll before--though I played Gedan, a half-orc once--so this is a new experience.
My gaming group plays lots of homebrew old-time D&D, but we've also been in rousing games of CoC, 7th Sea, Amber, and Paranoia. Recently I've been BM for Bunnies and Burrows, which began as a one or two session oddity and ended up as a campaign. Now, our usual GM is planning a horror style game, and I'm looking forward to losing my sanity bit by bit....

I live not far from Vin-Ahrr-Vin, but I was nearly in your neighborhood this summer, Boozer. :-) I was planning to join a walking tour that went across northern England from the Irish Sea to the North Sea. Unfortunately, work commitments made me put it off for a year. I'm hoping to go next summer, though.

Sounds cool Ahnn Uuh! I'm also big into walking, mainly Scotland & Lake District. Off walking & camping there next week as it happens. If you ever manage to get over here, let me know!

Will do, Boozer; thank you kindly for the invite. Living in Flatland, I'm envious of your walking opportunities.

Yeah, we are lucky where we live. Very near to the coast, the Lakes and Manchester, as well as a load of smaller local towns. We are only 6 hours from the Scottish Highlands and the south coast. The only problem is finding the time to get out amongst the hills! Check out my 'About Me' page at the [glow=red,2,300] Hobgoblin's Tavern [/glow]for a snap of a recent walking/climbing trip! Sorry, this has nothing to do with T&T! I'll shut-up now...

Welcome Khaydhaik, good to see you here! As you probably know, I had a d20 module published by Pisces All Media earlier this year, and they released it through Cafe Press. First of all, the first copies of my module I received were awful, with half of the stuff missing, rendering it unplayable. Then, when I finally got replacements, after a LOT of hassle and many emails, and after CP had promised to send them, I eventually got the proper version. Although it was complete, the set-out was very poor indeed. I emailed them and told them I would never recommend them to anyone I knew, and as a UK buyer I was sorely disappointed. So there you have it, I hope that helps. Whether this is typical of Cafe Press publications I do not know, but I felt that I could have done better myself. In fact, and this is NOT a plug (I'm not that cheap... ha ha!) the T&T books I offer from my website are better laid-out than the 'professional' books done by Cafe Press. I hope Quoghmyre sees this thread, he's had an absolute nightmare with them. Boozer.

Khaydhaik,
I've heard good things about LuLu.com. I haven't used them myself, although I possibly will if I ever try to publish something, but they've been recommended to me a a pretty decent bunch.
