Sorry bit of a Clueless Question which I may be posting in the wrong place... The Online Adventures section seems to have gone very quiet of late. It's a feature I really used to enjoy reading, especially when the story was developing in "real time" (yes I really have been lurking that long). Has it moved somewhere, people lost interest, real life got in the way?

As best as I can tell, houndle , the games have either run their course or physical life events intruded upon the time spent here. There was one game, in the last few months, that I recall someone mentioning they were going to run on Roll20(?) but I'm not pulling any other details to mind at the moment. The Online Games section is open to all members. If someone wants to run a PBP game here, just check for interest and let Mahrundl and I know so we can set things up for you

Not sure if he ever gave reports here but I see these types of reports from Todd Petersen occasionally on the main Facebook group. I think Todd also posts here so maybe he will see these messages and mirror them but I don't recall his name here. Latest update was last month: www.facebook.com/groups/2867487059935406/user/1636934968I am pretty sure there is at least one other running game that gets talked about a bit on the FB page but I don't recall that person's name so not sure how to find it easily. I suggest digging around on that FB page, try some keywords ("pbm", "players" (as in "looking for players"), etc.).

Thanks all, I don't really FB at the moment. I'll have a think about what I can realistically offer/support by way of gm'ing before posting anything more definite.

Hello, My Name is Dan and I'm a huge fan of T&T. I have been a long time gamer and I've loved RPG's since I was introduced to them in the mid 80's. I have played other fantasy games of course but there is just something about t&t that fascinates me, I can't explain it. The 5TH edition boxed set with the Corgi pocket book sized rules book was my first buy at the local game store, well maybe not so local, actually about 35 miles from my home town and I recall begging my mother to drive me there. Enough about me I'll stop gabbing now, I just wanted to say howdy and introduce myself.

Welcome, alkazar! My 'local' game store was about 125 miles away when I first discovered T & T, so I feel your pain there. I probably only got to visit it twice a year or thereabouts, and they didn't have much T & T stuff, but I did manage to pick up a copy of Sewers of Oblivion. The internet has made the acquisition of T & T materials much easier...

Welcome, alkazar! I feel the same way about T&T. After trying a few other systems, I think that for me it's the freedom that the game offers. Though there are a lot of rules suggestions, both on this forum, in the published rule books and in Trollszine, the core system is strong enough to cater for all of them. Or a very small subset of the rules if you want to just get on with the role playing. I'm hoping that any future marketing campaign emphasises this as I see it as one of T&T's unique selling points.
As for buying gaming material, I can't beat 125 miles but a trip to the nearest games shop did involve a bus ride, ferry journey and two trains. Ah, the good old days...

Nice, I'm not alone. I still remember the trip home, I couldn't wait to open that box and see what I got. To sum it up: well worth the trip. It's interesting but my gaming store actually had a flying buffalo section.

Welcome Alkazar, great to have you join us on the Bridge.
I am also a Dan, high 5!
Check out Trollszine, lots of material to add to your game and it should not cost you a £ or a $

Welcome to the TrollBridge alkazar! P.S. houndle this is one of the nicest, most polite boards out there. Don't worry about your asking questions, the Moderators here are very polite.

If we rip someone's head off, we're always sure to place it carefully on a shelf with a nametag, not just trample it in the mud.

Bell jars with custom hardwood bases are, of course, available to those who plan ahead. Igor: Err... Abby something... Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby who? Igor: Abby... Normal. Yes that's it, Abby Normal!

My go to store back in the day was on the other side of a Highway and about 5 miles away. But I had a skateboard and no boundaries so off we go... Welcome to the board. -Mike

New guy here! I recently started T&T for the solitaire adventures, but found myself having a lot of trouble, so I thought I'd look for a community. The T&T subreddit felt really restrictive, so here I am! This place is still active, right?
