Does anyone here know how to properly edit Wikipedia? I don't, and I don't want to risk screwing something up. Ken's listing ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_St._Andre) says, near the bottom, In 2005, Flying Buffalo and Fiery Dragon Productions collaborated to produce a 30th anniversary edition of Tunnels and Trolls. Ken seized the opportunity to create the Mythical 7th edition of Tunnels and Trolls in which he extensively revised and updated the original rules. Of course, all real fans know that the Mythical edition is the 6th edition. This seems a simple enough edit: just remove the word "mythical," although it might be proper to indicate somewhere what change was made and why. Anyway, I've never done it, and see no reason to start now, so I just thought I'd mention it here and see if someone knows how to do it and cares enough to bother.

Never touched the stuff myself, and having seen the behaviour of some editors when it comes to 'outside' revisions*, I'm not going to start now...
* Some of these people have even less life than I do - they seem to have unlimited time to spend 'correcting' changes that they don't agree with.

Instead of removing the word Mythical, it should be changed to Mystical.

Although there's a bit of special layout for things like links and underlining, mostly you just click the 'edit' link at the top of the article.

Ooh, good work apeloverage! For the curious-but-not-curious-enough-to-bother-clicking-the-link-and-reading-it (which is probably most of us), I have taken the liberty of posting the "before" and "after" here. Before: In 2005, Flying Buffalo and Fiery Dragon Productions collaborated to produce a 30th anniversary edition of Tunnels and Trolls. Ken seized the opportunity to create the Mythical 7th edition of Tunnels and Trolls in which he extensively revised and updated the original rules. After: In 2005, Flying Buffalo and Fiery Dragon Productions collaborated to produce a 30th anniversary edition of Tunnels and Trolls. Ken seized the opportunity to create a new edition of Tunnels and Trolls in which he extensively revised and updated the original rules. This edition was released as '7th edition', although there is no official '6th edition'.

I meant to give you an Exalt for service above and beyond, but forgot... I was hoping to catch it before you saw this.
Eh, oh well. Anyway, it's there now! Thanks for doing that.

I guess you didn't want to use the word Mystical, although Ken does indeed refer to the new rules as the Mystical 7th edition in the book's introduction. I expect that whoever wrote the first Wikipedia entry meant to write Mystical but miswrote Mythical instead.

I've just tidied the article up - mainly adding section headings.
I actually think the whole bit about 7th edition should be in the article on Tunnels and Trolls rather than the one on him.

I've added a bit about "that company" , and linked to their page, and added some about T&T's influence on Runequest.

Actually folks, the "Mythical" really should get restored to the Wikipedia entry. "Why?" you ask? Well, the simple answer would be because that is what KSA referred to it as throughout the editing and playtest process with his Champions. Yes, there were other adjectives used in the email subject lines, but that pesky "Mythical" was the most common by far. And yes, I went back and looked through some of the cached emails from that time.
Calling it the "Mythical 7th Edition" may seem odd, since it actually got published, but it is certainly a very T&T-ish humorism to call it so. Ken changed this to "Mystical" just prior to publication, since it was becoming a reality. But to wipe "Mythical" away is an injustice to everyone who kept faith during the dark days between the quiescing of v5 and the rising of v7.
As for 6th edition? Well, while "that company" has laid claim to that monniker, there are at least two other very legitimate contenders for that title. All were fan-based compilations, expansions, elaborations and so forth.
