Shredded cloth predominates, mixed. Wool, felt, silk... OOC: ZOMG, we've happened on the remnants of a lost civilization of tailors! ...get it? remnants...? tailo...rs...? . . . maybe I'll just sit here quietly instead... ;D

Keep the thread going, ragnorakk! Danger looms, and you don't want the players to cotton on! Add some humour to this rich tapestry, and you'll have them in stitches!
(In my defense, I must point out that I was provoked. Or possibly needled...)

Koblenz sheathes his falchion for now, places one hand on his chakram clip and keeps an eye on the western corridor.

Seeing the shredded cloth and wool Thurgood whispers.
"Hmm, it appears that whatever lurks in these passages fought over the merchants stock and destroyed a good deal of his textiles at least"
"Hopefully we will come across some intact goods to supplement our pay"
OOC: Looks like the humanoids got into the fabric goods, those darn things are more pesky than raccoons! ;D

{sorry - my internet connection disappeared yesterday...  and while I've got you here, I should tell you that I've got some things going on Thurs-Sun this week, that might keep me away from my computer most of the time, so I am afraid that posting may be light - but I'm good today and tomorrow (assuming connection holds...) }

OOC: Don't worry, we aren't going anywhere. I hope its nothing serious ( at least not serious in a bad way ), who else will let me drop doors on snakes!

[ooc - nothing bad (the time away) hopefully good!] Let's say then that the party stands at the end of the east passage, where it turns north. This north hall extends 40', and there is an archway in the west wall where the passage stops. Again, this is hard to make out at the limit of torchlight (I swear that I didn't dig this thing with torchlight in mind Koblenz is keeping an eye back to the west. What're the rest of you doing?

"Come my friends, we cannot allow Ponto to draw too far away lest some unknown evil befall him" and putting action to words Thurgood continues to follow the hobbit.
OOC: Is there a signal if Ponto needs us in a hurry?

OOC: I thought Ponto returned to the group in a previous post (#46) from Ragnorok?
Bjorn moves north toward the archway keeping close to the western wall, wary of danger. As he moves he also keeps his eye on the north end of the passage to be sure that it does end. He stops just south of the arch in the western wall and peeks around the corner.

OOC: Thanks, I missed that with all the horrible yarn puns flying around!
Thurgood follows close behind, senses peeled for signs of danger and staff ready to deal sorcerous death!

[ lostheretic: if there's anything I can do to help you, let me know - or if you have any ideas or suggestions. Obviously, it's not going to be as cut-and-dried as it is at a tabletop - but we seem to be establishing a pretty good pace now. Do whatever you want - I'm not going to take advantage of the looseness of this kind of play to put your characters in bad spots. Talk among yourselves as much as you want to also - if you'd rather formulate plans before actions are taken, make sure everyone (as as close to that as possible) has had a say in the matter. In general, I am just assuming that everyone is together, unless someone says otherwise. I know it can get confusing with this many people playing - when timing is crucial, I try to make sure that everyone gets an action in - but in the interest of keeping the game going, perhaps I get too impatient...feel free to take any action you want - I hope that if you're feeling lost you can be found again!] (the brown stuff is the junk on the floor.) The door you see looks identical to the one in the previous room.

Bjorn move cautiously into the room, keeping his back to the northern wall. As he moves he scans the items on the floor for anything interesting or dangerous. When he is directly opposite the door, he signals Ponto to enter and listen at the door.
