Just noticed your post...firstly, I don't have a copy of SA, sorry. Secondly, I don't know how legal it is to send scans of copyrighted material-not very I suspect, which is probably why no one else has answered. Of course, maybe nobody on the Forum has that copy of SA. I can tell you how Skills work in MY T&T game if you like though. It's a port of the MS&PE rules-Skills modify SRs. Pretty simple really. If I have a Skill in Athletics+2, I get +2 to any SRs. If i'm climbing a tough hill or swimming a mighty river, the GM might let me add it to my STR of 12 for a 14+2D check. If i'm judging a Caber Toss, I might add it to my INT, and if i'm trying to impress a bunch of hangers-on by regaling them with tales of my Caber Toss exploits, I add it to CHA...but only if they like Sports Stories! Weapons Skills in MS&PE don't influence Dice+Adds...they influence Missle SRs(for ranged attacks) or Stunt SRs in combat(Fencing etc.). Again, if I had Cutlass +4, i'd get +4 to Stunts with it, know the best sharpening and maintenance techniques(Dex or IQ) be better able to judge weight, swing and quality(Cha SRs dealing with the Weaponsmith) etc...you just need to set the optimum amount of Starting Skill for your game, rip a Skill list out of another RPG(and trim it most likely) and you're good to go! I usually give my PCs 5+(INT/4) Skills to start, +1 per Level, but you'll want to mix to taste... If you want something a bit more formalized, the Tunnels & Trolls 2007 Houserules from "that company" has Skill rules for 5th edition-also lots of other goodies, for 5th AND 7th editions, I highly recommend it. Also, "that guy" ( the Main Hobbit at Outlaw) has two magazines of his own at Outlaw-Dungeoneer and Hobbit Hole-I think the venerable Sorcerer's Apprentice would be proud! There's plenty of Links to "that guy"'s site here already-but if you haven't heard of "that company" yet let me know and i'll post another one. (Honestly, I don't get a single Copper for this-Blast the Luck, too!)

You could also use...don't hurt me...the list of skills in d20: www.d20srd.org/indexes/skills.htmThe only really 'dud' skill in there is Use Rope - the other thing to remember is that Knowledge is divided into various specialised areas, and Craft and Profession have to relate to a specific job.
