Hi All!
Does anyone know where I can find an English translation of the following T&T adventures:
1. Les Jungles - Araingnes de Boomshartak AND 2. Les Nain Irve (which means the Drunken Dwarf in English)
They are both by Phil Ibert (I think that's how you spell his name) and the 2nd adventure is coproduced by Ken.
The first adventure is available on Drivethrurpg. I'm considering getting it even if it isn't in English. I would like a copy of the 2nd one as well.
Any info you can give is appreciated!
Thanks!
Richard

Hi, ElvenScribe. I'm not familiar with many of the French titles and am unaware of any English language translations of the ones you've asked about. Perhaps someone with greater knowledge could chime in? In the meantime, I've discovered an alternative path for you. Google Translate offers the option of translating documents. You just browse your computer and select them. It'll be a machine-based translation but will certainly get you moving in the right direction. If anything seems off in the translation, well, make a decision and use a red pen for notation . Your audience will never know the difference.

That's a great idea! Also, I actually heard back from Ken who said that the Drunken Dwarf is actually the river adventure that appears in the Free RPG day publication (just in French in this case). The other is unique and indeed is only available in French. But, I may buy it and try to translate it as you described. Thanks again! If I do I'll let you know how it comes out.

Richard Hi Richard! I produced all the Tunnels & Trolls 8 (French edition) books. Philibert is just a distributor and games shop. Les Jungles-Araignées de Boomshartak (the Spider-Jungles of Boomshartak) is an original GM adventure written in French by Kabuki kaiser. I wasn't able to convince Sarah Newton to translate it into English, so it's only available in French, I'm afraid. However, Le Nain Ivre is just the translation of a Roverboat Adventure, with a few additions (artwork, map, and a few details here and there). Usually, the French books are translations of English solos or GM adventures with new illustrations, new maps, and new test. Rick's Buffalo Castle is a perfect example of that, since it includes a map, a new cover and new interior illustrations by Liz Danforth, and new text by Rick. It also includes a few new elements discussed with Liz and Ken. It formed the basis of the Deluxe edition of Buffalo Castle, but failed to include some new text. More information on the official website of Tunnels & Trolls 8.
