- A solo for players whose character just died in the middle of a dungeon... The Abyss is a good solo for this. Not much in the way of story: "You've woken up in the underworld and want to get out. You have the biggest weapon you can handle and a shield." It's a tough solo to get out of though. The MR's are scaled depending on your adds. I'm not sure where you can obtain a copy but I'll see if I can find something when I get home tonight.

*smacks forehead* Oh, Fin. Why..why didn't you grab the good ol' man by the shirt collar and ask him why in the heck 5th ed. isn't available as a pdf and print-on-demand?!? Well, I'll tell ya what Rick said about PDF about 2 years ago... he wasn't really aware of it. A brief discussion via email, and he promised to look into it. And it's started. At least some stuff is getting up on DTRPG. Gentle nudges from fanboys to get an OCRed 5.5 up at DTRPG would be in order. DTRPG may even be able to do the scanning... but it might not be cost effective.

It may take some time combing through Amazon and/or eBay type places. I did find it in the T&T Bonus Pack available over on FBI's site: www.flyingbuffalo.com/tandt.htm It's second from the bottom. At $9.95 it's a decent price when you consider the solo is otherwise out of print.

I guess I've never considered who may have been involved with the scanning/OCRing of the solos that have been up at RPGNow and Drive-Thru. I think it's a lil odd that those few solos are up but not others and not the rules. I don't know if the ones that are available, if they are available because of mere circumstance or someone's directive or...what.

I know that, for DTRPG to do the scanning, they have to be given a copy to be sliced up in the process.
I suspect the ones up are the ones that Rick had multiples of handy.
And I really wish the Abyss was available. I've got a dead tree photocopy courtesy (literally) of Rick Loomis. (He threw it in to an order at NC.)

I have the adventures in the Delver's Pack, and found the solo to be really good and the GM one looks interesting. It doesn't really feel like something you'd wait a year for, but on the other hand we here all know that FDP just isn't on the ball.

What level character(s) are the adventures designed for? And can you give me a line or two about the story lines?
