Huzzah! ;D
I know the Corgi 5th edition is my "Go To" T&T for travel & portable reference.
It was also my first copy of T&T so I always think of it fondly.

Just like MachFront eh?
I had a copy (or 2) in the eighties but I've no idea where they go to...
I will re-read the Corgi book, cover to cover but I doubt I'll use it in play.. Too precious...

Yay for Hogscape! My poor Corgi 5e rules are so worn now. It's because I do just like TKD and use it as my primary rules reference. But, I wrote in mine. I wrote all of the real spell names under the Corgi spell names in the book, in pencil. Hell, the book is already so worn who cares if there is pencil writing right? Heheh. Maybe I should have just went ahead and used pen, because I'm never ridding myself of it. Other than the spells, I mean, the rules seem relatively unchanged compared to my 8.5"x11" one. I recently bought a new copy of 5.5e, nice fresh crisp clean. I'm scared to use it LOL. Sounds like a good catch, HS. I like Misty Wood. It's an actual adventure to me or feels like one. Gamesmen is more arena-ish to me and I don't like the whole stripping of me goodies like Naked Doom does (even though you can get it back); but I like that it does SR's across many attributes other than LK (though a lot of DEX IMO). I have definitely played those more in my Corgi version than full-sized. I wonder if you are the one who outbid me on the vintage Labyrinth on eBay this weekend . Curses to whomever did that!

Ahck!
JJB cursed me!
Yes, 'twas me that outbid thee. No I know who I'm bidding against, I don't mind if I lose.
My go-to is currently an ancient 5e with more pencil notes than original text. I used to write my house rules straight into the book (and I come up with and discard house rules on a very regular basis).

Aha! Okay, I'm not so bitter now knowing it was you. I'm bidding on another vintage Labyrinth, so it's all good. Well, I was but its a 5day listing, I was outbid, and I don't want to run it up way high for 5 days heheh. I also toss out house rules all the time too. When I played Abyss, I didn't even but a couple of the House Rules I proclaim I use. Haha. I just use what feels right.

Yeah, I was watching the Corgi bid. I was going to bid on it. The Corgi books always tempt me, but I thought, "Nah. Let some other dude get it. Hopefully they'll get a good home." Like I said, I'm glad I didn't do what I almost did. Hogscape got it and that's awesome with me. Anyway, I have so many copies of all of them anyhow, it would have been absurd for me to get it, but I was so very close anyhow. Good thing I didn't 'snipe' it. Everyone here knows the Corgi book is my personal fave. And that Corgi solo of Gamesmen/Mistywood has such a cool cover. It really does look like some old, pulp sword & sorcery dime novel. Just like T&T feels. I dig it.

Just don't bid on that Labyrinth vintage on E-bay. Haha. That's mine! Thankfully, I already have all the Corgi's and even with some wear and tear on my Corgi rulebook, I have no desire to buy additional copies of them. So you won't have to worry about me contesting your bids for those. I'm looking for some of the other vintage solos instead.

Oh that you on that one too? I was waiting for it to get closer so I wasn't in a bid war. But if that's you, I'll toss in a bid.

Oh that you on that one too? I was waiting for it to get closer so I wasn't in a bid war. But if that's you, I'll toss in a bid. My max bid was $7.85 and a kidney but it turns out I might need the $7.85 after all.

Plus, AU $9.30 for shipping. If we're talking about the same listing. But I could not find any other vintage Labyrinth solos listed at the moment. So that one is probably it. I bid a few times, kept outbidding, so I didn't know your max bid until reading your latest post just now. Check and see if you're outbid, because the listing I'm looking at I'm now the high bidder.
