I stumbled across one of my favorite childhood fantasy movies on you-tube today.
The Archer: Fugitive from the Empire (1981), a movie I have looked in vain for, for at least a 15 years.
Besides a terribly short run on VHS it has never been released in America and unless I miss my guess many here may never have even heard of it. I figure if the studio that made it has not released it in a couple of decades its OK to watch it on you-tube.
Two small notes.
1: whoever posted it titled both part seven and eight, eight so I have put the links in order bellow.
2: this is apparently a European cut of the television movie pilot called the Archer & the Sorceress, almost the same except for about 5 minutes cut off the end that give the lead in for the possible sequel movie.

A small extra, I also found the 1950 version of "Cyrano De Bergerac" with Jose Ferrer is out of copyright and available at the Internet archive: www.archive.org/details/Cyrano_DeBergerac
If you love swashbuckling and have never seen this Academy Award winning version ( or heaven forfend ANY version ) of Cyrano you owe it to yourself to watch this classic.
