Anyone good at avatars? I wanted to post an illustration I did and it won't work. I'm normally used to the kind where I can just post directly from my computer.

Anyone good at avatars? I wanted to post an illustration I did and it won't work. What seems to be the issue? You can indicate an avatar by going to Profile > Modify Profile. There's a space there for the url of your image. If it's one that you have stored on your computer you'll need to upload that image to an image host such as Photobucket. There are lots of image hosts out there I'm just familiar with this one. You'll have to create an account there and then you can upload your image to it. From there you can copy the url the image host provides for your image and paste it into the line in your profile here. See? Easy-peasy... ::aside:: Wha...? why's the Hokey-Pokey playing in the background....?

Thanks, I'll try using photobucket. Flickr won't work, I think it's protected eventhough it's my own image.

Hey! Looks like you got your avatar problems sorted out. Was it just switching the image host that solved it for you or was there some other nefarious foe that needed vanquishing?
