*sigh* & *facepalm* Guess we'll have to see what happens here... forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=483885I'll guess the credit in Hot Pursuit is for it's earlier cover art and the recent cover art has been (hopefully) legally licenced, but the credit from the previous print hasn't been changed. That's what I guess...and hope...

That's why it's called OUTLAW get it ... I'll admit I had to go check out trollhalla to see if there was any mudslinging going on. -Mike

Ah, but you "don't even have a portfolio" and don't even exist! I mean..."just do a Google search"!

OK, this makes 3 covers I have seen for "Hot Pursuit". The printed one by Claudio Pozas, Quogh's from his website, and the controversial one I saw on RPGnow but didn't buy ecause I already have a print version of the adventure.
Seems to be a lot of mud being slung in "that guy"'s direction lately. I have no opinion on how much of it should stick.
My guess regrding the covers is that some one found a "sexy" digital image and decided to post it to RPGnow as the "Hot Pursuit" cover. Someone else recognized it as not being the one it was described as being, and BOOM!

Sadly this 17 page and counting monster is likely the most talk T&T has goten on RPG.net for looong time.

As of right now RPGnow no longer shows "Hot Pursuit" and the OP website shows Quogh's cover.

Storm in a teacup, yes and no.
What urks me, this is linked to my Real Name, my professional name. I was pleased to help Ken, under considerable time constraints, and sadly it's far from my best work. I had no problem with FD replacing the art, but to steal someone's art and use my name to publish it. That is a little more than a teacup!
So now I'm accused of stealing someone else's art and passing it off as my own. Who did this, "that company"? and still not one word from anyone involved.

Nice work Quog...
Wasn't it FDs decision to replace the artwork?

I do agree with Quogh that having his profession name linked to art fraud is not a good thing.
AFIK "that guy" has a day job and runs OP on the side so it hurts him less. But for Quogh this could have serious career impact. This sort of thing is a very big deal in the arts community.

I'm know that I saw the newer replacement art months ago either on the "that company" website or their Lulu store and not just on RPGNow. Either way, the whole thing is weird and James has yet to explain the situation. Being so silent is probably not a very good idea. This is already on top of the Gristlegrim mess from a month or so ago, and the recent rumblings concerning New Khazan and from all outward appearances, he doesn't really seem concerned. Unfortunate. OP is one of the biggest shots in the arm T&T has had of late and it upsets me that at the same time it could be a stain as well. Yes, when I saw the thread I just saw ""that company"" and I was sorta excited. "Whoa. A thread on RPG.net about OP and T&T and it's already 7 pages?!? Cool....oh...OH! Ohh...crap."

This is why I have reservations about T&T only having one publisher of record. If anything should happen to that publisher...
Doesn't realy matter if it's FBI, OP, FD or Bill's Basement Books...

I admit to finding it fascinating that this is being completely ignored at Trollhalla, despite someone using the temp account name posting a link to the RPG.net thread. No one calls James out on the sort of crappy way he dealt with Kopfy's New Khazan and no one says a peep about this art thing... Strange.
