HUZZAH!
Not to come off as a self-absorbed ego-maniac or something... BUT, here's a new thread
I thought I'd say again that if anything I'm doing seems too presumptuous to the community here, I'd like to know - would like to rely on you fellas as 'regulators'! This last week+ has been really emotional, portentous and just really weird - but as far as I can tell we have a really open playing field right now.
I went ahead and started a lulu storefront and I'd like to gauge opinions on things like
the usefulness of it?
interest in it at all?
different options?
should I delete it in favor of some other model?
as it stands, it might be better to create a group on lulu that anyone who feels like making their own storefront (which is not a difficult process) and offering their books for sale can join... that way the trollbridge account itself can remain a provider of free content... something to look into...
For the record, I'm really anxious that my actions may have come across as hasty/ill concieved/etc. so I'd like to reassure you that I'd rather ditch the thing than alienate anyone here!
ASSUMING though that that's not the case, I'm pretty much just focusing my energies on trying to come up with ideas for the first issue of a magazine, and I'll probably be contacting a lot of you to ask permission for things already on the board and such. Unfortunately, I believe that one must charge in order to offer POD service (anyone know better than me on this?)
Column and feature names! Those are always fun! (Just bouncing ideas around here...)
- new gear, expositions on new uses of the piton, etc (Delver's Pack?)
- NPCs (Swords for Hire?), Monsters, Spells, Treasures
- Saving Rolls: examples, options, exposition, variations, etc
- Character Types & Kindreds: examples, options, exposition, variations and such
all kinds of subjects come to mind! solo adventures, GM adventures, setting information... yeesh!
anyway - if there's qualms or uneasy feelings over this - please let me know. I really don't want to tread on anyone's toes here, and sometimes my enthusiasm gets the better of me...
