Yes, but long enough ago that I can't really remember much about it, beyond that I thought it was good without being great. I think that there just wasn't anything about it that 'grabbed' me.

I really liked 'House in the Hills' in a recent edition of Hobbit Hole. Can't recall who wrote it but I was pleasantly surprised. Good atmosphere, well written, good paragraphy mechanics and lots of fun!
(Just looked it up - it was Dan Hembree. Is he a member here?

This is going to be my "must get" list! I've yet to play any of these!

Gun to my head, I would have to say A.R. Holmes' Castle Death. Close runners up would be Sid Orpin's Tree of Life, and Jason Mills' Scandal in Stringwater (for sheer outside the box originality).
As far as items that only exist as ones and zeroes on my computer (I love and collect books, used to collect comics too before prices went out of my range) jongjungbu (sorry if I mispell that!) has some professional grade material. My favorite of these is Barony of Sanris (again for the unique concept).

You spelled it perfectly. I'm quite impressed, if you didn't cut/paste it. That's what most people do rather than try to recall the spelling heheh. The closest ones type jongjongbu with the 2 o's. Anyway, totally agree with Castle Death by Boozer. Good stuff. I haven't tried those other two you mentioned. I may have to look them up!

First, author permission. After that it's blindingly easy if the word document is still available! I have a copy in doc form if it's needed. I just checked and it's still available in the files section of the Yahoo Group RadioFree Trollworld. Hello everyone. I just joined the group after reading the first Trollzine issue and seeing this web site as a link in the back of the magazine. I am Andrew Greene, writer of "Escape from Khosht." I've spent quite a lot of time attempting to get the solo adventure I wrote erased off of Amazon, Lulu, "that company", and other places "that guy" put it on the web. It is stolen property. As noted in a message on this thread, I wrote the solo as a labor of love. Never would I have imagined some unscrupulous thief would have taken it without permission and attempted to make a profit from it. I am here; my email address is a matter of record at RadioFreeTrollWorld and the yahoo group Blue Frog Tavern. I am very easy to contact if anyone took the time to do so. If you wish to publish my solo, ASK MY PERMISSION PLEASE. Then some arrangement can be agreed upon, I'm sure. Do not publish without my permission, in any form. The copyright is stated on the solo itself in the Files section of the two yahoo groups. Yes, I'm quite upset over the hassle "that guy" has given me on this, and yes, I will not take too kindly to seeing it published in any form without my permission. I'm pleased people have enjoyed the solo. That's was my intention. Do not simply take it and publish it without permission, regardless of your zeal to keep things T&T related in print. Thank you, Andrew Greene

Hi Andrew
Thanks for posting here. I am going to exalt you for the solo, it is excellent. I got it by downloading it from Blue Frog Tavern. Welcome to Trollbridge!
I can assure you that we take author permission very seriously here, and TrollsZine was launched with that as a central concern. I appreciate you have been badly wronged on this score and I entirely sympathise. I can assure you I have no intention of publishing anything you have done without your permission.
That said, if you are interested in having anything published through TrollsZine I would love to look at it. There is no reward other than the appreciation of the fans as all of TrollsZine is a labour of love, but authors and artists retain their copyright, releasing it only for the issue it appears in. PM me to exchange emails if you wish to.
I hope you enjoy your time on the bridge, there is a lot of T&T stuff here.
Dan Prentice

Andrew, welcome!
Sorry to hear that you're yet another person caught up in the "that company" situation. I hope that it doesn't put you off of writing other things; I haven't touched Escape from Khosht for ages, but I do remember enjoying it.

Thanks for the welcome mahrundl and zanshin. I hope I didn't sound too angry but in all honesty it's been quite a headache simply defending what I've written, and seeing it pop up here and there without my approval is extremely irritating.
Hopefully, all that is now water under the bridge. I'm overjoyed people enjoyed the solo. That's what it's all about.

Andrew, first, welcome to the Trollbridge. Second, my apologies for unwittingly promoting such a transgression. I was under the mistaken impression that you, as the author, had uploaded Escape from Kosht to Radiofree Trollworld. I can assure you I take copyright seriously and have not uploaded nor distributed your solo in any manner.

I appreciate that, ProfGremlin. I did place it in RFT in 2002, as a simple enjoyment for the members there. In 2007, I began to see it in other places...Hopefully, it's all over and done with now and everyone can move forward with better things in T&T.

Personally, I don't think that you sounded angrier than is warranted under the circumstances, andrew. I imagine that it must have been pretty frustrating for you. Hopefully, as you say, it's all done with now and you can get back to more enjoyable pursuits.

Ice Cavern of Isahil is not one of my favourites, for a bunch of reason. On the other hand I think I have a different view of how to do things than Boozer. Who wrote "Escape from Khosht"? The esacpe from Khost was fun, and you can easily play mutipel times, and enjoy it. It's apperently written by written by Andrew Greene
