I have an intro Cyberboard adventure ready for anyone who wishes to play. BTW, I discovered a way to keep the map hidden from players by using border tiles that I can arrange to create a room without showing anything the players don't see. There is a part of this adventure where I drew out the whole building, so it will be all visible but I don't think it will affect gameplay much. For those who don't know Cyberboard, the game system does the dice rolls for you!
Anyone interested please let me know,
Djacknh

I'm interested, but I'm also over-committing myself in a number of areas at the moment, so I'll probably pass for now. I will, however, Exalt you for creating this!

Thank you Mahrundl!
This might not be the best time to post invitations (like 72 hours before Christmas), but I'll post it again through January. Happy Yuletide and holidays everyone!!!

Y'know, this has possibilities. Imagine writing a solo that partially involves picking random cards and/or units from a Cyberboard gamebox, and placing them on a map. Or setting up a map that only makes sense in terms of the solo. Or, heck, a solo based around laying out map tiles a la DeathMaze, combined with a paragraph system?

Jongjungbu,
I'll repost right after New Years.
Uberoi,
Cyberboard has immense possibilities. With the tile creation system you can make practically any image you want. Never thought of making solos but with enough effort it could look as good as a video game without the action graphics.

I'm all set to start if anyone wants to give it a go. Adventure requires that Player(s) have about 8 characters.

Sonofthor, Thanks for responding. You will need to download Cyberboard cyberboard.brainiac.com/Doesn't take up much space. You might also want to check out the Cyberboard ML Yahoo Group. In the Files section they have a tutorial on how to play. Not too hard once you get the gist of it. I'm still learning myself but I think I have the basics down ok. When you're up and running I'll send you my gamebox, game file and scenario file and we can get going. ~Dave

Do you have to have Windows to use it? I've got a Mac and don't have Windows.

Sonofthor,
Cyberboard will only run on XP, Vista or Win7. If your Mac can emulate an IBM you can do it but you'll need a Windows program.

I would be interested in joining the game if you still have openings. I've only played the solo's.

Welikelasers,
Thanks for responding. I'll give it until next Monday for anyone else who wants to join before starting in earnest. In the meantime please roll up some characters using version 5.5 (TARO rule applies and you may choose Kin after rolling them up). I'll PM you.

I'm still interested. Been sick since I returned home from the holidays. But after the two bowl games tonight and tomorrow night I'll have lots more free time with football season coming to a close soon. How many characters would I need to roll up?
