Raiders of the Lost Art: A Satirical Short Solo

Hi guys,

You all might remember a post by Proffesor Gremlin in the Articles for TrollsZine issue 1 thread a dew days suggesting a solo where you have to recover all the IP that Shipy stole and, i said i'd like to run with it. The prof gave me his blessings (which he may regret when he reads the solo ) and, feeling creative i had a shot at it today.

It is very short, pretty much a joke through and through and should not be read if your going to take it too seriously. With that in mind, the download link can be found below and i hope you enjoy the adventure.

P.s, Oh, in case your wondering there is no adds, type or level limit on it as it's mostly just a joke and i really don't think there is a high risk of coming to a sticky end in it. There's no magic matrix though so Wizards might feel hampered. On the other hand there is no need for magic through out so i don't think it'll be an issue.

I expect a mixed reception to it but as long as some people enjoy it, i don't mind. Also if anyone else wants to pitch ideas / suggestions, they should feel free.

well some people may take exception to making fun of the whole "outlaw mess" thing
but i viewed it in the homourous light hearted vein in which it was intended and it gave me a giggle

You got it in one. . I know it may tick some people off but, hey, it's not like it's untruthful. I see it as being a part of the great brittish tradition of satire.

It always annoys someone but, compared to the number of people it makes smile it's well worth it. There are a few jokes that might not be so obvious to spot but they all translate to things that have been said here or things that have happened and it's my sincere hope that it might bring some pleasure to those that have suffered at his hands.

The deepest joke i've buried in there is the Scooby Doo reference. The thing about Scooby Doo is that at the end of every story it was always revealed that the big bad was nothing more than a regular joe. So in this story we see that beyond the hobbit disguise the hobbit is nothing more than a man hiding behind all of his actions. Nothing special at all.
