Just thought people would be interested to know that we have had 596 downloads of the Zine on RPG Now to date - not bad for the first issue after just 6 weeks I think.
Onwards and upwards!

Well, i'm impressed! :0).
It takes a lot for a fledgling zine to have such a presence and i think that comes down a lot to the guys that got the word out there, as much as it does all the guys who contributed, edited, organised and generally made the zine happen.
I'd say that we can expect that many readers again at least and, judging by all the new material available in the second issue, even more. Saying that however, issue 3 looks like it'll be even stronger than 2... We are da bom tikady! Lol.

Given that T&T is a loooong tail product I think this is a great start, add to this all the other places hosting it we have a good numbers of readers. Best I get back to work on Issue 2...

I downloaded it 591 times myself, so I hope that doesn't mess up the count. Seriously, that's an impressive total. Of course, it's also a free download. Wonder what percentage would still download, say at $1 for an issue....

As long as I am editor I intend to keep it a free publication. It makes for good will all round, and is the best possible way of promoting T&T IMO
If securing art becomes a real issue (it isnt) I would consider taking donations for purchase of stock art.

Latest figures from Sean Patrick Fannon at Drive Thru RPG
Trollszine has been downloaded 859 times, with 553 in the first month it was available (March). Trollszine 2 has been downloaded 418 times since May.
I think TrollsZine 1 benefited from being a featured publication in their email, which then gets blog syndicated. Number 2 was also available from Lulu for a month before it was released, so that may have affected the Drive Thru figures.
Please promote the zine on any blogs, websites and forums that you think are relevant.

I just finished this first issue of it today and I can't wait to delve into the next one! I'm not sure I can use expletives on here, so I'll just say it was &^$*$*$ Amazing!
Fantastic artwork through and through, tons of advice and thought provoking ideas for a soloist/GM. Options for when you have, for example, a FREAKING HUGE MR, and are thinking at this point, "Gee...wish I had more dice!" Fear not, you're covered! A bestiary with some solid challenges, that I can't wait to test out! Fiction! Humor! A very interesting magic friendly mini solo adventure called, THE BLOOD WAR OF SAXON! Magical Items!
THE GAME OF THE SPHINX is an awesome idea using a deck of cards to aid in adding an air of mystery to a game! I loved that! All in all, no doubt TrollZine is a hardcore passion project by a band of truly passionate people and it shows! I'm not only super impressed, I'm genuinely amazed and stoked!
