Another thought, any chance of getting links out to the solos we've had in TZ?

That would be cool - especially as Four Jars of mead is set in Khazan.

Hey zanshin, don't forget to PM or e-mail me a list of drawings you could use.

Sorry Trollfactor - I have been crazy busy. I will do so this weekend.

I got a report from the first external playtest... He likes it, but his character did get killed. There are a couple things he pointed out, which may be a little different with his next run-through (his first character was a bit over-powered, making a lot of the saving rolls pretty easy.) His death came when a battle took too long and a wizard showed up and zapped him.

I have just sent my next article in the How To Write A Solo series (number 3, for inclusion in TrollZine 4) to Dan. I have ideas for the next two articles in the series (and quite probably one or two more) after that.

Can't wait to read them... Then ignore their advice

Excellent plan. I increasingly feel, as I write them, I am imparting nothing more than vague notions everyone has had, and ideas which others will not want to use. Still, someone might enjoy it.

Darknight: Often writing it like that, but its inspiring and encouraging. If we get more people writing solos, that a great thing.

Just curious... What's the status of TZ4?

I'm curious too. I submitted an article based on notes that I've since revised and expanded. I wouldn't mind updating the article if there's time, but I assumed it was too late.

My apologies Gaptooth , I have not had the time to give your article the full attention it richly deserved. I have announced elsewhere that I am passing the lead editor job to Sligo. I will email you for confirmation that you are happy for me to pass the article on.
Thank you all for your excellent work for this. I am confident TrollsZine 4 will be a superb download and that it is in good hands.

Permission granted. Dan, you've done a wonderful job on this publication, and I hope that the change of focus gives you a chance to breathe.
I thought my piece needed a bit more fleshing out, especially in terms of examples, I just didn't have time to work more on it at that time.
