I've trolled through the file that Mahrundl sent me, extracted my old posts, and reposted them under their original threads. Each post starts with the phrase: "From the Lost and Found archives".

Unfortunately, the posts I contributed to Oli's request for ideas for his pirate game were not in Mahrundl's file, so those scenarios are lost forever to the ether. I had hoped to read those scenarios again myself...

If there were any particular posts that you recall of mine that did not reappear as part of this reposting effort, let me know, and maybe I can construct similar posts. No promises, of course...

Welcome back Khayd!

It is a while since I set foot under the bridge so I'm sorry I didn't know you had gone. Glad you are back though.

I went through a similar time some while ago when I also wanted to dis-associate myself from writing adventures and from my website and all things related.

Certain of you here know the reason why and the company that made me feel so bitter about the whole thing. Glad to say I got over it and with the help of certain of you (you know who you are...) came back to write some new stuff.

I hope you are feeling better and have resolved whatever problems you had.

Boozer, I've simply decided to not get upset about certain things anymore. Hopefully I'll be able to continue the practice. It seems to be working so far. I'm now of the mind that some things are not worth getting upset about anyway.

The way I used to handle it when I'd get upset was to just disassociate myself from whatever it was that was making me upset and any thing related to it. But I now realize that such a practice doesn't always work, because some of the related things that one would be giving up are too important to walk away from.
