A few day ago I did master a game. I am now always using Gametable application as a playing board. I had promised to the gametable forum to post a few screenshots. And, as it was played with T&T rules (well, more exactly a blend of MSPE and T&T), I tought it could interest a few of you. www.gwindel.eu/GTscreenshots/GTscreenshots.html

Maybe the link is still with the old URL, I have had my own domain name since. The address should be: www.gwindel.eu/gametable/Atelier.htmlIt is in french, but just click on the small pictures to download zipped files of pogs and underlays. If you have any problem, let me know and I'll send them directly.

Thanks gwindel! You rock! Lucky for me, here in Quebec, children of immigrants have to go to french school (as opposed to english school). So Canada and Quebec have given me both french and english as secondary languages, so feel free to post any T&T specific french site (On a side note, i had found a pretty cool T&T site in my native italian, but cant seem to find it anymore). I have a few T&T questions to ask about how you implement certain aspects of the game while using Gametable but i'll save them for tomorow so i can get at lest a few hours of sleep before work.

Skathros,
There is a wealth of stuff on that site, but it's in Italian. Some of it is just Italian translations of English products, but there are a number of original items for T&T and D&D as well. I was talking to one of the site owners the other day about the possibility of translations, but he doesn't think that anyone there has the facility with English to translate them properly.
If you have the time and inclination, that might be something that you could do. Your English is pretty good, and I'm happy to help with phrasing if there are bits you're not sure of. I'd do it myself if I had more than a smattering of Italian. As it is, I'm considering trying to use Babelfish or similar to get some of the products into 'Italglish', and then manually update them to more idiomatic English.
Of course, you may not have the time or inclination. If so, that's fair enough.

I have been wanting to try gametable with Skype for voice for a while now, but just haven't gotten anyone interested in it. It does just what I need and nothing more that I don't (except for displaying character sheets). I use it for dungeon-mapping as opposed to battle-mapping which most gamers will use it for today. I like the Dice roller.

Well, i'm torn between gametable and screenmonkey. Has anyone tried both? Any thoughts on strengths/weaknesses?

WS Smith, I have been displaying character sheets with Gametable. If you are interested I can post an image with a description of how it is done. And I am afraid I don't use Screenmonkey because the GM must be on Windows (though the players can be on other OS). But if I was using something else, it would be Battlegrounds, it has much more features than Gametable (too much for me, I need a very simple one). www.battlegroundsgames.com/

That would be great. I used to be a big fan of WebRPG back in the day, but now not many people use it. I have never tried Screenmonkey (I am on a mac) but I actually like gametable enough to stick with it.

I get it now. Thanks. I was using the old version 1.1.
Battleworks looks pretty good, but I am very cautious of "buying" programs like these.
