Cool, I saw something you posted about it a while ago and have been looking forward to trying it out.

Woo-Hoo! Adding this to my birthday list!
And my Christmas list.
And my anniversary list.
And my Memorial Day list.
Veterans Day. Independence Day. Groundhog Day. Sooner or later, my wife will get the hint.

This sounds interesting. Do you have some pictures of the actual product to share?

This sounds interesting. Do you have some pictures of the actual product to share? I do have photos of it, but unfortunately they're too big to post here and I can't figure out how to show them on the product page. I can describe how it looks though: Each of the 72, black-and-white, double-sided tiles is 6" x 6". The 36 dungeon tiles and 36 item tiles have a Celtic looking border. The dungeon tiles have an illustration and some text on each side; the item tiles have two illustrations and two pieces of text on each side. The dungeon tiles were also meant to have tunnels that connect (and don't connect) to each other, hence why they're so large, but unfortunately my illustrator died before he had finished doing that. So visually it's not exactly bare bones, but there is room for improvement. What I want to do next is figure out how to change the font, which is very plain, find someone to draw the tunnels and caverns, update a few of the weaker illustrations, and add colour. I've just play tested it for the first time last night too, and it seems to work very well (even if it is very difficult with the pre-generated characters). It can be played solo or as a co-op game, and you can use your own characters from other games. During my play through I spotted a typo, and one of the checks was a bit too difficult, but there weren't any major issues that I could see. If you find any though, or you have any ideas, let me know! I'll be updating the game in several months time. And if you know any illustrators who can work on it, tell me!

A short tutorial is fine, as long as you toot delicately.

Is this a finished product, or still under development? Also, does it come as print and play files, or a physical box?

Is this a finished product, or still under development? Also, does it come as print and play files, or a physical box? It's finished, and playable, but I'm going to eventually rerelease it with rule clarifications and extra artwork. Since I don't have an illustrator though it will take a long time to add to it, which is why I've gone ahead and released it as is. The things I want to add to it are just little details that don't affect the game too much It comes as a stack of 6" x 6" tiles, which are really like large, plastic-y playing cards, held together by two plastic bands. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a box: DrivethruRPG doesn't give me the option to create boxes for tiles that large. The introduction and rules are on the first few tiles though, so it doesn't really matter.

Bad news: I updated the file so that the borders were colourised, and so that some of the text was updated, but the website won't let me make the updated game public unless I order another proof copy. As it costs about $65 to order a copy due to shipping (to New Zealand), I'm going to have to hold off rereleasing it now until I've drawn the dungeon art, which will take several months. At least you'll get a better game when it's out!
The only way around it is if somebody who wants the proof copy emails me their address and credit card number. It'll be $10 cheaper than normal too since I'll take away the profit margin (so 15 USD + shipping).

We played the game last night and it is real winner!
It has heaps of replayability and heaps of role-playingability and heaps of potential for rules arguments!
Perfect for when you what to get straight into the action without generating a plot and when you want to go light on the character building.
Big wraps from me on this.

I've uploaded a short tutorial for the game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTXGumazOmU&t=56s), a look at the cards (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRV5VxN2QD4), and a video of Mark and a few other friends playing the game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecmtiant7qI&t=306s). All of these videos are about the first version of the game.

I've just created version three of the game, which includes individualised border art for each dungeon tile, six new dungeon tiles, two new pre-generated characters, and a new rule system where the players spend Adventure Points to take actions instead of having a certain number of turns to complete the game, among other things. It's not out for a couple of weeks mind you as I can't release it until I get the proof copy.
I'm releasing a free PDF version of the board game too. You can download and look at it, and print it out if you want to. If you print it out instead of buying it, glue the tiles on the odd-numbered pages to the tiles on the even-numbered tiles. You can find it here (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/240509/Escape-from-Danger-Dungeon-Free-PrintandPlay-v3). Enjoy!
