I've been loving playing solos and running games of Deluxe T&T ever since purchasing it directly from Flying Buffalo. I've been looking to expand my Tunnels & Trolls library some more and I came across Monsters! Monsters!. This is referenced in the core book for DT&T as well, but I'm curious if there is a reason for someone who already has DT&T to purchase this?
Are there many/much more playable kindreds/lore/content in Monsters! Monsters! that is/are not covered in the Elaborations section for Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls?
Thank you for your time guys! This is one superb game!

Yes, Monsters! Monsters! has at least some creatures in it that are missing from Deluxe - the Sphinx is an example. Many of the monsters that are in both have different names or different abilities, there are a stack of new spells, and there's an introductory adventure Woodsedge Inn. So there is certainly value to be gained from it for a Deluxe game. It's also a fun read in its own right, in my opinion. Page 185 of the Deluxe rules talks about converting from Monsters! Monsters! to Deluxe. You can get it from Flying Buffalo's DriveThruRPG store: www.drivethrurpg.com/product/84227/MonstersMonsters

Flying buffalo writes at their homepage that they are going to do an opdated version of Monsters! Monsters!. Is there any info on when that will be?

Assuming that you mean the specific Monsters! Monsters! page (it doesn't appear to be on the home page), that message has been there for quite a while. The earliest version of the page that is stored in the Wayback Machine is dated 26 September 2010, and contains that statement...
There was discussion of an update after Deluxe T & T was released, but nothing seems to have come of that. A new edition would be nice, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.
I'd be interested in seeing it added to the MetaArcade app, along with multi-character adventuring. That could have some fun possibilities - monster hordes!
