I just found out about this sad news last week in an update on the old Nuclear War Kickstarter that I pledged for years ago. I've never had the honor to play with him or even meet him. However, I have talked to him quite a bit over the phone placing several orders with Flying Buffalo Games in the past. He loved Nuclear War and Tunnels and Trolls immensely and although a very busy man he always would like me take the time to ask any questions I had related to these two games and even tell me some great stories from past games. The one time I told him that Buffalo Castle was one of my very favorite T&T adventures made his day and told me a great story about how that came about and little tips and tricks for making that into a GM worthy adventure! Just those few interactions with him made me want to keep placing orders with his company and to know him better. Very lucky are the ones that got to interact more with him. I shall miss hearing his voice the next time I place an order with Flying Buffalo Games. I hope that the passionate person he was lives on for many more years to come through his great games company. As long as Flying Buffalo Games is around, I shall be a customer. As soon as I'm able to get back into the workforce I shall contribute to his gofundme page also. It makes me extremely happy to see how much this fund has raised in the short amount of time! That is a true testament to how great a person he was/is and how many people's days he touched and made better simply be being himself!
