There are a couple of places where people tend to post such things: The reason why there isn't a dedicated section just for scenarios is probably because no-one, as best as I can recall, has ever requested one. Also, the forum's growth occurred in a rather laid back and 'organic' manner, meaning that it is more 'lumped together' than it is organised. I had a quick look at your links, and wish to say that those are some nice maps. I do like me a good map, yes I do...

I'm all for having such material made available and suitably envious of the creativity that goes into it.
My sole question is whether it is better placed in this forum or Trollszine. Rightly or wrongly I see the latter as a bit more "public facing", a kind of store front if you like that might pull in new players to our game. Not sure whether a sub forum in here would have quite the same impact.
I could be wrong though. Hey, the magazine where I first read about T&T has been defunct for 40 years.

@ mahrundl: Well I might request a Scenario Forum. I think if a person is looking for something, that is the place they would go, even if they found nothing, now they know nothing exists. Yes was looking at those very two locations, bit cramped. Cheers, maps are fun for me! @ houndle: This is true, but if TrollsZine can see stuff here, then they can take and place in zine and have two locations where the liquid gold might be stored! I will tell I working at something right now and would want a structured place to put it!? Its very hush, hush at moment, noo tell anyone!

nialldubh houndle No, we do NOT take any posts from The Bridge and use them in TrollsZine. All the content in TrollsZine is submitted for use in the TrollsZine!!! TrollsZine is a great place to submit content, and we have no problem with it being published anywhere the copyright owner wants to, that is up to the owner. Personally I believe the benefits of publishing content in TrollsZine are, We proof all content, We often source additional art, We collate, We layout and we publish, a great deal given that it's FREE.

I'll have to second Mahrundl's assertion: no one has ever asked. For those that would be interested, the sub-board: Tunnels & Trolls > Worlds, Monsters, Tricks & Traps seems to be a go to, along with Mahrundl's listings, with the caveat that most folks tend to default to the General Discussion 'board. A little while back - maybe a year ago? - we did add a Maps sub-board. It's garnered a bit of interest but it's been kinda quiet. Then again, we are a niche spot.
There is another reason that may linger in the back of some folks minds. I know it's stopped me from posting such material. For quite some time there was a 'publisher' - and I use the term quite loosely - who would snatch up whatever they wanted online, repackage it as exclusive content and sell it for their own profit. Didn't matter what the hue and cry was or who it came from they refused to stop. Having dealt with that for as long as we did, it's no wonder that folks would be hesitant to post anything they feel strongly about.
Even now I am still keenly aware that anything I post can be used by others for their own purposes, without attribution. This is why I'm judicious about what I post and share. It's all well and good to point out copyright and intellectual property but the fact remains: those battles require the gold needed to send the legal beagles into battle. Mercenary groups can be quite effective, as long as the gold keeps flowing.
I'll leave the explanation there. It's a sore spot amongst the community and the perpetrator is no longer in a position to continue their behaviour. The story can be found online, if anyone cares enough to go looking. For us, we breathed a sigh of relief when the publisher went out of print.

@ Prof
Yes, but I enjoy the map board, that helped me; as I obviously enjoy making maps...
I sympathies, there, sound like a cad, but I have to balance the reality that folks who do deserve the fun, would miss that; because we not do what we want to do. Same philosophy as one person is a shoplifter, then every person gets treated as a shoplifter when they enter store is unjust...
With my forum, if any takes and uses properly for self-fun, then good for them, if abused then it is their soul they need to live with for the rest of eternity and it of no concern to me?
Still comprehend the dilemma, but as stated, he probably only one mentally disoriented fellow in may thousands; who would show consideration to others and their work, and it is only this one that has/had a chance to abuse it. May legit RPG companies do not do that sort of thing!

No, the "man" to whom we were referring was a jerk, nialldubh. He was a profiteer with (as is usual with these fellows) NO scruples whatsoever. His own work ethic was admirable however, but that was the ONLY ethic or moral he ever displayed. There was no sickness. He is dead now, and out of respect for our colleagues here on the Trollbridge, I will not name him. As to our colleague, Qhoghmyre's assertion, that is largely true. I recall giving a Trollszine editor permission to use some of my writings here in Trollszine, but that was an isolated case, with my express permission, and I have no idea whether the material ever saw the light of day in it's pages.

I appreciate the work folks are putting into Trollszine and sympathies with the difficulties there is to trust others and hope they not abuse that thrust...
I just glad to state that I have not had to experience such betrayal. At least not in any gaming concept: concerning stealing other folks' material.
We can only hope people learn to abide by a form of unwritten ethics that most folks regard as a norm and do the right thing!
