My neighbor is planning to build a gaming table, complete with inset TV for our games. Does anyone have recommendations/reviews for virtual TTRPG software? I've heard good things about Roll20. He's leaning toward Foundry. Are there any that work well with T&T?

I'm a long-time roleplayer, ever since the Red Box was published ⚔️🎲 I discovered T&T in 2020

For me it has to be Owlbear Rodeo (the video link above from Prof is a good intro). T&T is all about simple, clear gaming, where rules and complexities aren't allowed to distract from the fun - Owlbear Rodeo, for us, fits the T&T vibe really well. Roll20 and others (which we've tried) are too much like D&D5e, where it's all about increasingly detailed options and new feature upon new feature. Just give me a map, some figures and some dice, I need nothing more! Another intro video I found useful was this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3-QWlnDSCg&t=32s

Sounds like we'd agree. My neighbor has decided on Foundry. He's a Pathfinder fan and wants all of the options (especially automatic line of sight). I think I'd prefer OB Rodeo; it's closer to my method of pulling off post it notes to reveal parts of a map.

I've found Foundry is great. I've been using it for over 2 years now, running up to 3 games a week. Foundry has FoW that works very well, the DM does have to setup the walls, but it doesn't take long.

To the best of my knowledge there are no VTTs with T&T as the game system.
