Sup' This is Scath speaking a little of that "Gobble" to all y'all from the beautiful coast of Knorr, The Eagle Continent. We're all close to the beak part of it all right now. Listen up, crew. I got the sickest vendetta, when it comes to that cheddar.... Ya feel me? How does a group of Goblins that have somehow managed to fit in and influence societies and communities around them, make their money? See, me and my crew I'm rolling with right now, know that we as goblins are too curious for our own good and often that's the thing that leads to our demise...Our own curiosity... At least that's true from my experience. See me, I was in the arms trade...shhh...still am. If you need a piece, you know where to find me. Maybe you, could accompany me later on to go see my own arms dealer. I'm in the market right now for a .45...How about you?
Besides guns, which most of us that have embraced who we are and our own culture, do carry. What next? What kind of Goblin will you be? Granted, any path that lays before us, as we step forward into the unknown, will have something "dirty" about it. After all, our cultures and clicks that have clouts and weight in the arms trade, organized crime, drugs, prostitution, murder for hire...We are the scalies that pull the strings of the puppets we all know. We are organized and we are strong!
This is an idea that I'm working on right now, as far as adventure concepts for adventuring goes in TnT. The Ballin' Goblins is the working title of this concept. I'm looking to eventually right up a source book for this regarding adventuring as one of many of these clicks of highly organized Goblins in the seedy underbellies of Trollworld. These cats have access to a lot of things that most humans don't even get to experience. For example, a reliable firearms, where to get them and if need be how to manufacture caches of ammunition. If the appearance of one of these goblins doesn't communicate to the world around them, "There's something different about that guy/girl." When you get into a combat situation and when others may pull out swords, whether magical or not, do a double take when you may pull out your piece. You may not even have to fire a single shot to get what you need out of this.
What do you guys think about this concept so far? Just worked on it a little bit today after playing a little Goblin Lake today and started to ponder and visualize future adventures I want to bring this Goblin Marsh-Rogue named Scath on and see about giving him connections to some seedy elements within any working society. I want him to have a firearm too. Currently going through MSPE to see how these firearms pertain to that game and ways to implement them into Trollworld.
